    What kind of wire do you use? 2,7mm or thicker?

      I used the factory wire that came with the kit. Unfortunately this wire is not recommend as it deteriorates after a few years. I now use the black heavy duty Husqvarna boundary wire.

    Completely agree with you on how low maintenance and hardly any work with the automower ! I had them going to 6 years, I have 3 running… the only thing I differ is on the blades, my ones don’t last 3 months I probably change them after cutting 6 days, ( just as well i sharpen them myself so a set has lasted years, I only have to replace the screw as they wear out or broken/ bent blades

    That's right, a riding mower will mulch up the grass, no need to bag anything. If you were my nieghbor and all i I hear is a humming of an electric motor ,don't you think that it would be annoying running 24/7. A riding mower would do your lawn in 10 or 15 minutes twice a week. VERY LITTLE MAINTENANCE ON A RIDING MOWER FOR AVERAGE SIZE LAWNS. ELECTIC MOWER SUCKS.

    Hi, the automower seems to leave the leaves/branches behind. So how would you manage that without it being another time consuming exercise?

    • @justynb5500
      @justynb5500 2 роки тому

      If your property has excessive amount of trees surrounding it the Automower will just maintain until which you will need to clear the yard. If this is a problem or an issue I suggest not purchasing the Automower. Some seasons we can get away with no clean up for months, entirely personally preference.

      @@justynb5500 automower is a peice of junk ,it can't mulch, leaving, leaves a small twigs behind, now you have to walk your lawn picking things up. So you should have just used the riding mower in the first place.

      Thanks mate. Reason the grass is terrible in that one spot is that’s where the dogs finish their fence running. Main reason why the boundary wire broke.

    My lawn haven't looked better since I got a 430x we have a Honda ride on and a self propelled we will probably use them in Autumn but otherwise the Husqvarna is doing a great job. Our German Shepherd occasion tries to eat the mower but she tried that on the ride on too :) The guide wire on the Husqvarna in invaluable for those hard to get to areas. I looked at a Stihl but every dealer wanted to charge to fit the permiter wire, took me about 3 hours to install 400m. They wanted £800 to do the same job. So glad I bought the Husqvarna.

      That’s awesome, I’ve just had to replace the entire boundary wire due to too many breaks and repairs. I purchased a cheap Ryobi electric garden edger, the blade made the perfect trench with no trouble on hard dirt. All done in under two hours to complete 400m. I’ll post an update video soon.

    *I have a relatively flat lawn that nevertheless has a number of bumps and uneven bits in it because it is a bigger, more country like lawn🌼 **allabout.wiki/Husqvarna-315X** After the set up, which went as smoothly as can be expected given how much I hate learning to work new tech toys, Husqvarna got to work and did a surprisingly quiet job of getting the mowing done. While it has gotten itself stuck a couple of times, lifting the mower out of a too low bed edge occasionally is a whole lot less labor-intensive than dealing with having the mow crew come twice a month and having to pay the resulting bill.*

      Still working great. Just replaced the front tyres , and ordered a pair of rear joysticks as I have some items in the yard not protected by a boundary wire. Eventually the joysticks will fail with constant hitting. Other than that I’m very surprised this mower has lasted this long without a major issue.
