why do you talk about Alaskan Malamutes but your video has Siberian Huskies? Do you know the difference? You sound stupid to talk about Mals but have Huskies on the screen.

If you have one of these cold weather dogs in a warm area. Contact your local cold storage or ice house to see if they will let you bring your dog into the cold for a while. Or buy a concrete mixing tub. And several blocks of ice for your arctic dog to lay down on and enjoy. Even putting a pizza stone in your freezer then setting it on bubble wrap for the insulation will allow your dog to chill properly.

Malamutes are a quiet dog. While they will howl but it isn't that common, malamutes do 'talk'.

We had a spayed female Malmute and a spayed female Suberian Husky we certified with the Delta Society as therapy dogs. They did visits at the local hospital and nursing homes. They were a hit everywhere we took them.

Friendly yes but I would say malamutes make a great guard dog overall while never trained to do so my family had a malamute when I was a kid and when some thieves thought they were gonna mess with our atvs and snowmobiles they found out the hard way she snapped the chain on her dog house no issues and she got a piece of them needless to say

Yes they can be excellent therapy dogs. I have 1, we have only been together for 4 months but she has had such a positive effect on my mental health. Takani is a 9yr old rescue and fitted in to the family within minutes, almost as though she had grown up with us. She automatically seems to know when I am on a downward spiral and stays by my side

As a former breeder and handler of working dogs (English Springer Spaniels and Border Collies), I have heard it said - and tend to agree, that the worst thing that can happen to a breed is for it to be recognised by the Kennel Club. This was said in the context of the UK Kennel Club but I imagine the same may be said of any others.

I like malamutes better than huskys.
