Welcome to my Weather, media, aviation and geeky styled 1980s to today's material. I love to showcase weather conditions in my own interpretation for northeastern Ontario. When things work out properly, I use green screen chromakey. Otherwise, I produce some voice-over shows, or Powerpoint templates. My other features include, a look back at previous tv and radio shows. Also, my other presentations include Weather Network Weather STAR emulations.

Thanks to a fan/source of my channel, the music track is Feelin' Alright by Roland St. John Hanneman.
Was the blue LDL bar used around that time on non sattelite versions?
I want to say yes? I went from Cable to satellite a lotnover 13 years. Can't really remember.
Nice video download ..must be a pro! LOL
The good 'ole days of Pay TV with Northern Cable in Timmins.
LOVE THE LAST PART...ENOUGH WITH THE MACARENA ALREADY!!! 😂😂😅😅
You cant even make what they are saying at 8:24 in a slow tone and i wonder that same id was used on the sudbury timmins and sue st marie stations back at the time also and i wonder why they went from ez rock to kiss fm later on also?
@@hollylester3813 Start your day the easy way, with 90 minutes of Commercial-free music. Timmins did not get EZ ROCK until early 2000s. We had Q 92 ROCK and a long-time original station CKGB on AM 750, which changed to 99.3 FM soft rock. Q 92 used to be CFTI country music, which phased out totally before 2000.
@@WeatherNowTimminsi wonder why they would have 90 minutes of music playing anyway?
@@hollylester3813 90 minutes commercial-free, so that the listeners can enjoy no radio ads for half of the morning. Orillia's EZ ROCK on 105.9, had 105 minutes commercial free, sponsored by Zehr's Food Plus grocery store.
I remember when it was a ez rock station back in the mid 2000s and they would sing the I love ez one also and I also remember Dan & Jamie on in the mornings there also
@@hollypietrzak5214 A lot of listeners got confused with that long ez rock slogan with with the singers..thinking it was a song. For the time that I lived in North Bay, the morning show was always Scott Clarke and Erin Brooks. Then the co-host varied between Mike Anthony, Catherine Murphy (Former Timmins MCTV news reporter) etc. I moved in 2004 and never kept up to date anymore.
@@WeatherNowTimmins i wonder why these stations now a days dont produce their own Seprate morning shows anymore now like they did in the late 90s and 2000s also and i think the i love ez rock thing was just their slogan they used at the time also
@@hollypietrzak5214 1....COVID....2, market interest. ONE announcer from Timmins was let go during the COVID epidemic. He now works 7 days a week with another local guy, who both produce a daily 1 hour LIVE conversation show on FB. He did not like moving down the hall from the EZ ROCK (Kiss FM) morning booth to the next studio, to do Voice tracks for the other Kiss FM stations. It's all about consolidation.
@@WeatherNowTimmins times have changed now also
RIP 1% Club!!!!!!

Stay safe out there. I remember the music tracks that the weather network used back in the 90's.
@@seanbeddows8962 It takes me 3 hours to produce a 3 minute show. I do my best to find music tracks that corelate with today's weather and yesterday's memories lol.
@@WeatherNowTimmins Thank you so much for your hard work. Keep up the great work 😀😀😀😀😀
I’d say that worked out pretty good!
What’s the air date of this episode?
I remember the track at 6:03 very well from the late 1990s. Thanks to your video and the Shazam app, I just found the title: "Dr. Livingston" by Hollywood Film Music Orchestra.
*Wow. Pretty nice.*
I loved Hal ❤
Voice over by Frank Cavallaro.
Well explained meteorological events within the forecast details.
Thanks for the feedback. It takes a long time to produce this type of material. A few hours after this show, all of the alerts dropped.

I tried to research the Bidome story from Montreal from 1993, couldn't find anything. I also suppose ESSILOR sponsored year-long UV reports for added revenue? I also remember seeing MM in Ottawa, Aug 28n1992, at :33 past the hour, there was a 90-second anchor report, just like Pierre Lamontagne, and immediately after that, it was the STAR 4000 version of Quebec's Regional forecast with voice-overs.

This was shortly before they changed the satellite LF map to a new one that would be used for many years, probably up to at least 2021, if not longer (but definitely before Pelmorex had their cybersecurity attack). MétéoMédia discontinued that satellite LF map sometime in 2001 with a regional local forecast based system that was used for about 20 years on their satellite feed.
What do you use for you systems map? I thought it was TWN but looks like it isn't.
I don't like to copy TWN's maps. They are screenshots from Weather Undergound...who used to allow for "tap" to display pressure readings. I also convert the "blank" version of WeatherUnderground and finger-draw systems map from NavCanada's systems map, updated everu 6 to 8 hours.
Welcome back! Great update as always! Where did you find the EC maps?
The EC maps are screenshots from Twitter @ECCC
this takes me back to my childhood and i wonder why cfra and majic 100.3 dont do these traffic and weather dates anymore like they did back then anyway?

0:04 Ah yes, I do love “rayonnement ultraviolet.”
This looks like the WeatherStar 4000 Winter in the US, except one half is in French, and the Star changes color.
Thanks for this. I used to live in Kap, once upon a time. Nice to be reminded it still exists.
The Kapuskasing Airport, 24 hr. Weather office, is a blessing to northern Ontario weather. Their airport now has an ATC transmitter, cross-coupled with the Timmins sector, so I can hear Pilot reports of weather on the ground at Kapuskasing.
@@WeatherNowTimmins Genuinely fascinating! Kap, Timmins, a many of Ont locations, I called those places home for a number of years.
In Montreal, Q92 had exactly the same jingle which is the last one in this clip starting at 1:55, I have it recorded somewhere and perhaps will upload. Cannot find one already on UA-cam.
