Taproot video doesn’t work.
Hi! We had a problem where an AI bot was hitting the Taproot Video site hundreds of times a second, and it brought us down :-(. But the site is back up again.
Need to know the parts of backstrape weaving
Yes, this class is perfect for you :-), check it out under Laverne Waddington on www.taprootvideo.com
Bnde ogrenmeyi cok istiyorum
Of all the things I've done from the beginning, this is one I have been reluctant to do 'as a recipe' - perhaps it's pure stubbornness, but I really don't want my first piece to be someone else's. I have watched others (on YT), but still haven't really taken-in just how it works. And as a pattern maker (like, wallpaper) I would really like to convert a few into straps from card weaving. I've knitted, painted sculpted, drawn, and pic-manipulated ... one day I'll give this tablet method a try. And........ now I have found THIS upload!! YIPPY!!!!!!!! And, I-too have thought that if I taught knit, I would go into the hard stuff first, as the simple takes time to learn, when in reality, to a new student, there is no difference -- they learn to think the tough stuff is tough by learning the easy stuff first. I'm excited to take part in your class someday - hope soon. Joe Guelph Ontario

Have you seen our aso oke from Nigeria 🇳🇬. Your Wordpress blog has been hijacked by Jetpack, so we can’t read it. Just so you know.

太棒2O年前我作過但有点忘了但我想從新作
Очень красивые работы! Восхищаюсь вашим мастерством!
How to starting
ua-cam.com/video/DAgjtSg7jZs/v-deo.html
I've been having trouble getting the copper findings to match with my copper wire, you tutor's always seem to have matching colours to finish your pieces; so frustrating. All the same your pieces are beautiful even if it's just a quick tutorial
I get my findings from Shipwreck Beads in Lacey WA. Yay! They also sell online
Finally! I have been combing the internet and UA-cam for this kind of information that my very technical brain requires. It’s a complete mental roadblock for me trying to learn anything new unless I know technique behind exactly how something is done and why. Thank you!!!!
Lovely; thanks for that great indepth tutorial
How to use that cloth
I've seen several videos on how to do tablet weaving, but no one shows what to do with the finished bands!
Check out Aspinnerweaver's blog page for a long, long list of ways to use narrow woven wares :-)

Hola en donde puedo conseguir los materiales para aprender a elaborar uno
This video class will teach you everything you need to weave on the backstrap loom. The winding of the warp (that comes before the weaving) demonstration video is on Laverne Waddington's personal blog. Great resource, that blog!
wow amazing
Se copiaron el telar de los inkas y q aun lo usan aqui en peru.
Very Nice. Great to see your appearance on UA-cam, Rebecca!!
Put a video introducing it perfectly
What is backstrap weaving
Now **cough** theoretically **cough** ahem, so theoretically if I decided to braid 3 lengths of double weave together in an attempt to make a wire version of a rope handled box, how does that change the finishing process for maximum handle strength?
Love this!! You are a tremendous teacher! Please where to find those escape and copper lobster claw? Bless you!, Grateful, grace in vt

Ulos, traditional woven from Indonesia, in Tarutung, Batak land. For more information, please watch, subscribe, share and comment my channel, tks 😊
Me encanta
We do backstrap weaving in our culture too.
Looks like a good movie!
Great description
News! WorldFest - Houston just gave the film their Remi Award!
This is the best video I have seen showing PRECISELY how to finish off the bracelets. Your instructions are very clear - of course; you are a teacher not an amateur!
Beautiful! Can't wait for the film :)
I would like to see a video on the basic starting with intro of the loom and starting the warp.
The winding of the warp is on Laverne Waddington's personal blog, and all instructions needed after that are in Laverne's Introduction to Backstrap Weaving video class on www.taprootvideo.com 🙂 Laverne is a great teacher!
Bellos colores del telar,se llama peinesillo
Q madeira pódio faze um tear para cahicol
Could anyone tell me where to get the pattern shown in 1:59, or what this technique is called?
This is Sulawesi technique.
Thank you so much for your clear explanation!!! 👍🏼👏 Just what I was looking for.
Dear Marilyn, how do I add a bead over the end cap? I can not seem to get a clean finish w the hook wire fdo you demo this somewhere? You are a great teacher!! Thank you, grace in vt
Have not tried the bead thing, what a cool idea! Send me a picture please.
Beautiful
Where may I view the tablet weaving course?
There's a link to the website in the bio, the course is available for purchase at www.taprootvideo.com :)
Look under Kris Leet at www.taprootvideo.com
Please where do you live and give classes? And how much it cost,I really would like to learn that technique THANKS A LOT .
Hi! Kris's classes are available anytime, as video classes on Taproot Video. Check them out! taprootvideo.com/instructors.jsf
These are beautiful. You do lovely work!
This is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for when I started tablet weaving a bit over a year ago. I watched the multi-hour video of a class run by Kris that's on youtube and it helped, but the mechanics were something I had to figure out myself. I've started occasionally teaching tablet weaving and I always start with explaining some of the basic mechanics that I really don't see in tablet/card weaving videos on youtube. Understanding the mechanics of tablet weaving rather than just following the pattern and letting it unfold like magic is essential to being able to create and reproduce beautiful, complex tablet weaving.
