Red Wing 4499 how do they hold up?
After 4 years there is plenty of life left in them. They have been in some of the harshest conditions in industry. I have never taken care of them. They just last and last.

Trip to the beach. This is probably the top pick spot for us in beaches for the state of New Jersey. The beach is clean, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping to be had within walking distance from the beach or your parking area. Don't forget to bring cash for the $10 dollar entrance fee per person. #beach #njbeachcams #beachhaven

overview / review of this beach. Get there before 9am for decent parking. After 11am there is no more close to the beach parking. there is also no free parking. the beach cost 10 dollars per person per day. ( CASH ONLY! NO DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED ) and 35 dollars per person for a week pass. The beach gets so crowded that you have to watch each step you take just to get from the water to ...

You can actually buy the OEM couplers for each beckett model. I've always preferred that then the cut down kits. I only use those kits on old oil burners I can't get the parts for.
SA is one the top production 1911 maker. This LOADED is still right under the TRP line.
@TheRealZJM377 I appreciate your comment. For me though, I am very happy with it regardless of where it is in quality. It could be at the the top or bottom of the barrel. It still shoots well. Though I have a bunch of plastic guns i like, I can't help but like the all metal ones a little bit better.
@@kstofkos good. Now send it back to SA for upgrades like Magwell and front checkering like on TRP so you can keep your life time warranty
Boring
@garypayton5081 Nobody told you to watch it. I have more boring content on my channel if you want to waste more of your life.
Engineers debate over gap and forcing cones. It's actually very easy to produce any size gap consistently. There's no superiority at play here. Different size gaps and cone shapes produce different pressure dynamics that can affect performance and the life of the gun. Hence the arguments. I subscribe to a longer angled, polished cone, with a gap as large as .007-.010 without spitting, or great losses of pressure will provide good performance, lower recoil, and much less stress on the gun.
I just purchased 2414, I'm happy to hear they last a long time. Break in period is very uncomfortable.
@gregoriojuarez1579 yeah, but they do last
Ugliest engraving I’ve ever seen
Had me 😅… till I saw the hose. Water hose..
@@aprilwilliams1918 hahaha... yeah
Very cool video Kyle! It was entertaining.
Thank you!
His hands are so big it makes the Glock look so small
I find that awesome
your hands make it look like it's one of those small model glock's
I’m looking for a leather holster that will fit my Glock 48 any suggestions ?😊thank you 🙏🏽
None, that has to be a personal choice
My feeler gauge has .003 .0036 .005 .007 .008 (it does not have .004 😂) I have a 6” Colt Python from 2023 with a lot of cylinder end shake, like a lot, BUT won’t let .0036 slide in only .003 goes through. So even with a gap within factory standard and within Kuhnhausen's strict standards the end shake sill feels like a lot.
Just picked one up and I color coded mine
Nice! I like mine
These 2 videos were perfect. I went looking for a comparsion between these 2 same length same caliber pistols and got exactly that. As always Kyle, thank you.
Thanks again!
HEY KYLE!! I like your replies to the negative comments, Good style.
Thanks!
So my main deciding factor between these pistols is whether or not I can shoot the underwood 305 gr Hard Cast moving around 1300fps. Have you any insight on if the Taurus M44 can handle such a load ?
No, I can't say.
Nice, Great comparison of 2 new stock versions of the same gun basically.
Thank you!
No eye protection
Nope.
I hope u enjoy ur g20 i just purchased one and love it im also a glock fan but im a fan of guns in general so lol i do love glocks
I'll happily buy a Ruger or Braztech revolver. Not a fan of S&W, not under current management. Definitely wouldnt buy anything from them nowadays with their garbage QC and customer service. Not what they were years ago. And they still have those idiotic and hideous Hilary Holes.
Damn YOU! I was getting the Anaconda as my last snake gun of the new model Colts. Then I saw this. Need I say more? Geez!
Made in USA? Or vietnam? I see china's the tongue
Can you oil these motors if they become noisy? I don't see any oil cups on my motor i replaced 2 yrs. ago??? Nice video...........Right ...... bad things happen on Cold Winter Days!!!!
If they are getting noisy, it is headed for a total bearing failure. Generally something is damaged in the bearing. Thank you!
Not really a far comparison. Single actions should have tighter cylinder/forcing cone tolerances. Try a Ruger RedHawk instead.
Sometimes you got to piss with the cock you got. You measure it, then post your measurements.
@@kstofkos the only .44 I have is a Colt Anaconda.
What grips it is? Looks special
Pachmar grips. Thanks!
@@kstofkos thank you
Is it 6 inch barrel sir?
It is a 6"
Did boeing buy smith?
I just bought a new taurus m44 and have a s&w model 19 . I find the smith's trigger I like glass and the taurus trigger unrefined. Sorry
No need to be sorry, even Smith can make a good one from time to time. 🤣😂
I have the RIA Tac Ultra fs HC 10 mm with the threaded barrel and it so smooth it’s like shooting a 9 mm. That double stack and pic rail gets me hard I’m not ashamed to say 😂
Hahahahah.... nice!
Yep that's the route I'm going. Can't deny the S&W M&P is nice but between that and a 1911, Rock Island Tac Ultra FS HC is a great middle ground
Rock Island sights are reflective liquid - sunshine makes them glow, so brightly, that they are visible in the brightest part of the day.
Too bad it says Connecticut on it
Yeah, it is a shame that Colt was so screwed up in their thinking as well as shunning the firearms community that they literally ran their business into the ground and lost it. Colt is not elite, in my personal opinion non of the manufacturers are. They just produce stuff. And if something catches your eye, and you have the means and desire, you buy it. Funny thing is, 95% or more of the time in today's world.... most revolvers are made better and stronger than the older Colts and Smiths. The older ones were and are legends, but with today's CNC machines and metallurgy, many of today's guns can excel guns of yesterday with performance, accuracy and overall quality at much a cheaper production cost. In fact, I'm glad it says Connecticut. I never would have bought the original. The original was such a poor quality they decided to use the Pythons style action inside the gun this time to improve the overall quality and performance of the Anaconda
Great video I learned something new! I have a question with the coupling do u have suppose to have a circle with a flat spot on both sides on the coupling or just one side?
Each side of the ( coupler ) cylinder has a flat spot to fit the shaft.
Thanks
On the back hawk, he had it on the barrel, not on the cylinder
I appreciate your observation, but I have to say I was there. I definitely know where I slip my feeler into.
Are those the original grips on it? I like those as that model doesn’t include checkering on the front and your hand grips look to solve that. Please share where I can find hand grips like that?
They are pachmayr grips. You can find them on line or at some shops. They are extremely affordable, comfortable, hold up over time and fit my large hands perfectly.
Wilson Combat sells a checkered strip you can clamp under the grip panels to cover the front strap. It is cheap.
First pair I bought in 2010, wore them only in winter but every other week. Driving truck, I didn’t do much walking so they got less wear. I had new heels put on them 3 years ago. Also I always used SnoSeal to help prolong the life of them. November of 2023, I bought my second pair, and had the old ones patched and re-sewn. Great boots!
That's awesome to hear!
I drive a truck. I'd deliver industrial gas cylinders to factories and plants. I'm on my feet a lot. I wear out a pair of redwings in about 9 months. Of the lighter duty. I wore out cheaper boots in about 3 months. I've had 2 surgeries on my feet. And I'm looking for some good boots that will hold up and protect my feet. Comfort is important.
This guy is just talking his a$$ off😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The possibilities are endless
Thanks for your video. Do you know or is it possible to get the model # of the motor that you put on? I have one going out and want to upgrade as well. Thanks in advance.
To assure compatibility. I would get the part number off of your current motor and cross-reference that with a compatible model. That is, of course, if your current motor is no longer available. If you have your motor part number, you could contact a parts supplier and they may provide you with the correct part and or part number that will fit.
@@kstofkos thanks
How’s the holster holding up after a yr.? I just purchased my very first gun. A glock 43x and looking to buy one.
No issues at all, but I have to say it is my hiking set up. Not a daily carry. I will also say it is as robust as my triple K holster and that has had no issues after over 15 years I believe.
I have a pair of these revolvers with 6” barrels. I bought one and just had to have twins
I've owned both and held onto the Taurus. Both had VG triggers with the S&W being slightly lighter. But the Taurus was just more comfortable to shoot. So it won and got held onto. The S&W had more polish to it. But as they say "Chrome don't get you home". I am all about the function and ergonomics myself.
To pay down some debt, I sold a few guns. I kept the Smith because it was part birthday gift for me. That's the only reason I kept it. I liked the Taurus.
On my second pair. In the trona underground mining they last me up to 6 months. But so is every other leather boot because of the corrosiveness of soda ash. If you want confort try, keen utility great boot, if you want durability buy matterhorn. These boots are ok.
I don't believe shooting at targets your viewer can't see really doesn't count for crap !
Hahahahaha..... well, you can show me your videos. You have to understand one thing. I'm not making videos for your pleasure and enjoyment. I make videos because I feel like it.
Thank you for your review. You gave a thorough review. You gave me a great comparison and helped me make up my mind. If you dont mind a friendly critique. The lighting on your video could be better it is a little dark. Also, the light from the window does not help. Its better to have the camera lens pointed with its back against the light and not towards it. Please forgive me if I offened you it is not my intent. Besides that again great video packed with great information. Thank you.
Thank you! Very much appreciated!
You should have had on some chaps and a helmet with ear and eye protection to tackle a tree so dangerous. Great video !!
Hahahaha.... true. Thanks for watching!
What type of grip do u have
Pachmayr grips. Took 5 to 10 minutes to put on. They fit my hands perfectly.
No eye protection??
Not this time
I got my M44 last week for just $600. Range trip was terrific. Gun felt great. Perfect function and quite comfortable to shoot too. Compare equally to the old M29 I had. M29 had more polish to it. Fancier. But both function the same and had great triggers.
Yeah, they are pretty nice handguns! I hope you find a lot of enjoyment with it. You can't beat the value paired with the quality. They are fantastic!
I too use patches and wrapped them around the bristles! 😅 Im glad im not alone in this. Cleans the bore quicker.
Yeah it does!
I am thinking about purchasing the SA 1911 Loaded Target... wonder what the differences are??
I couldn't say, what I can tell you is that I've never had an issue with reliability or accuracy with Springfield. I actually just purchased a Springfield unfired NRA edition 1911 chambered in 10mm last week. If I had any issues with Springfield, I wouldn't keep buying them.
Sights are different. Target model has adjustable rear target sight, not the Novak style.
@@evansmith2279 Yep, you nailed it. I went and looked at the description on the SA website and the adjustable sight is not on the loaded. missed that when I looked before.
Does your unit kick on and off a lot? I find mine kicks on for 30s-1min at a time but it doesnt run for a long time before it pushes the hot air. I know i need to replace the motor (was told there is a dead spot) its an oil furnace with forced hot air.
If it is actually burning during the time the furnace is on, it could be a dirty or defective electric eye located under the coil pack.
@kstofkos ill look into it. I just had a full cleaning done a month ago. And when i take the back of a screw driver to the motor, you can hear it shift and then it will start. Or i have to open the top and spin the fan, and itll start working again.
@@grnneyes27 yup, motor sounds bad
