    If you have the Mac and iPad screens open in Apple Vision Pro, can you use the new feature that lets you see the iPhone screen through the Mac, in order to effectively have all three visible in Apple Vision Pro?

      It does not look like that is possible at the moment. I tried everything with the current beta version, and it throws an error every time I try. Basically, it's using Sidecar for either the iPhone screen or the AVP. So it is unable to do both cuurently.

    Ok purchased the ShadowCast Pro 2. I didn’t understand I had to have screen capture running. So I downloaded OBD2. I got it working but the colors are very washed out. I tried changing settings on OBD2 but didn’t seem to affect anything. I’m using the Preview screen to get it full screen. Do you or anyone else know how to get better colors so they aren’t so washed out? I may very well be setting this up wrong. Some step by step instructions would be good. What capture software are you using in this video? I’m using my MacBook Pro M1. Thanks!

    • @RyanPeterson-5053
      @RyanPeterson-5053 21 день тому

      So I used the Genki Arcade app. It is going to give you the cleanest picture. I am not sure what OBD2 is, unless you meant OBS. If you did, I would recommend that. Then you could capture the window for Genki Arcade and stream that. Now, if your not streaming, just stick with the Genki app. Steps So Device to Shadow cast 2 Pro HDMI in USBC/Thunderbolt cable to Macbook Open Genki app and you should be good to go. If you are running OBS, I would google how to capture an application from OBS on a MacBook Pro. Its pretty straight-forward, but you will have to set up the sources. Which it should say if you click the + button in that tab MacOS capture screen. Or something like that. Anyway, I hope this helps. Also, the screen capture you were seeing in this video was coming from the Vision Pro

      Glad to hear it. I also just remembered that I had some quality issues with certain HDMI cables and docks for the switch. Not sure if you're running a high speed 2.1 cable or not. But if I remember correctly I was using those in the video. I have this one amzn.to/4bR4p0S and then I used the ones that came with the Xbox and or PS5.

    Do you need a license to operate the avata 2?

    • @RyanPeterson-5053
      @RyanPeterson-5053 21 день тому

      You do not need a license to operate the Avata2 unless you plan on flying it commercially or for anything that you could get money off of, and that would be under the Part 107 certificate. However, to fly a drone as a hobbyist, you are required by the FAA to take the Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST). You are also required to follow the FAA's recreational model aircraft rules. Also, you must register your drones with the FAA if they weigh more than 0.55 pounds or (250 grams). That is like $5, so its not bad.

    I would caution against never taking it off, because if an abrasive particle of dust gets between the glass protector, and the laminated Vision Pro glass, then dust itself could cause scratching. it might be reasonable to take it off periodically and microfiber clean both parts to prevent that. Just looking out.

    How much did you pay for the Best Buy warranty? I’m seeing that it cost $350. DJI Care Refresh cost $100 for the same 2 year coverage.

    • @RyanPeterson-5053
      @RyanPeterson-5053 Місяць тому

      I actually purchased the My Best Buy Total subscription. It was $180, but it gave me two years of Best Buy protection on pretty much every purchase. It also gives you two years of AppleCare on all your Apple purchases through them. So, I already have it covering four products, which would have cost way more than $200 if I had bought coverage for each one individually. If you are only purchasing the drone, it is not worth it, as its yearly cost is $180, so Care Refresh is a lot cheaper. But if you plan on buying other stuff through them it has its perks.

That's why it snapped to the window to the bottom (that was placed on the left)... I never really liked, because it changes the position depending on your work configuration. Anyway, nice review... I am really glad to hear it! I have not tried the new M3 Pro's, so they might be a bit faster. However, my current M2 Pro 16GB runs pretty much everything that your talking about. I run Mutilpe VScode Windows, Docker, Safari, and Chrome with multiple tabs open, and I have had Xcode open as well, along with three messaging apps and more. When I was testing the M3 Air, it handled the same number of apps with no problem. I really think that unless you get a higher-end Pro model, the air is more than capable when compared to the base model of the MackBook Pro's.

Now I just recently started testing a $15 case (amzn.to/3WmyMav) and a $10 battery case/pouch (amzn.to/3Qvn21N) through Amazon for travel. Its not bad and I will probably do a review on that soon. As far as battery cases, I have only ever used the Belkin one that launched with the AVP. I really like it and have not had any issues. But now that there are so many more options, it might be worth checking some of those out.

    I kinda wish this wasn't a "fully immersive" app, so that you could open monitors alongside other visionOS apps. I hope long-term they offer both options. I worked in Immersed for several months using my Quest 3 before buying an AVP for the increased resolution/quality. I was able to substitute Immersed with mac mirroring + splitscreen + several visionOS apps. I hope that eventually I'll be able to do something like this with Immersed.

    I’m sorry, but this looks terrible, it looks like the Quest OS! What I mean is for $3500 the AVP OS actually has 3D windows! Windows in the back, in front, up and down. Windows placed around 3 dimensional space. You can walk around between windows. It’s absolutely believable. Quest productivity features look and feel like 2D, like a big curved flat monitor. Every window is side to side. It’s beta but so far, it’s losing the 3D magic.

      I have both Quest 3 and the AVP and I think what you are seeing in the screen recordings is not doing it justice. All of the text is clear, and everything is way sharper than in the quest version. Now, as for the 3D environment, I agree that it is not as clean as Vision OS or as user-friendly. I am just really hoping they can work on it in the future.

      Makes no financial sense either, but I guess someone with a VP isn't really all that bothered about money. As a side note if you have the RC Pro with HDMI output just pick up a cheap analogue FPV headset that does HDMI in, will be better than the Vision pro as far as latency goes and while not better than the DJI Goggles for latency it will cost much less.

    Is the base model 8gb ram m3 13” air good enough or better to buy 16gb m2 air 13” or 15”?😊. Does it work in our normal wifi router or needs 6e particularly? Is the m2 air camera too bad?

    • @RyanPeterson-5053
      @RyanPeterson-5053 2 місяці тому

      It would all come down to your use case. If you are not using it for super-intensive tasks, then the 8gb would be fine. However, if you want to do more with it, then I would go for the 16gb M2. You will lose out on a little processing power, but a little extra RAM wouldn't hurt. As far as screen size and camera go,. I would personally get the bigger screen, but as for the webcam, I have not tested out the M2 Airs camera, so I cannot speak to that. But Apple usually has pretty good, if not the best-built-in, web cameras on the market, at least in my opinion.

      The shirt is from gruntstyle.com But I haven't been able to find that exact one on their site. They switch prints every few months. So it might not be there currently.

    Great video! I have a similar TPU cover from Amazon and the extra piece of mind helps. I was so afraid of walking into something 😅😅😅

    The risk of a lens scratch is a no-go for me. I’m using a case to protect, I don’t want to worry about it

    Hey Ryan, I just finished watching your video on youtube and it really did help me a lot, dude your content is solid and you provide a ton of value, so thanks a lot for that) But I found out that the thumbnails of your videos seem like they're poorly designed and not optimized for High CTR for a business channel. And I can fix that, I've found out the exact methods even Iman Gadzhi is using in his thumbnails to increase the CTR by speaking to various UA-cam experts, which I could replicate in your chann annel and Increase increase th the CTR like crazy I'll do one thumbnail for free and then you can check and see the quality of my work and only then pay me for the rest of the thumbnails. Does that sound like a fair deal?:)

    Hey Ryan , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?

    Great Video! The small compartment on the Spigen Case is removable, but the space in it, it is a bit limited.

      Ya, I would have liked it to have been a bit bigger while keeping the removability feature.

    Both of these cases are too big for me. WaterField Designs makes the perfect Apple Vision Pro case for my needs. It's not a hard case, but is SO PADDED that I wouldn't worry in the least if the case was dropped with Vision Pro in it. And since I'm not one to throw my Apple Vision Pro around, I don't need a hard case. The Waterfield Design's case is so space efficient that it's amazing to what it can hold. And the case itself is SO COMPACT that it can easily fit into other travel bags. Yeah, too much over compensation when it comes to Apple and Spigen's cases. They're right for someone, just not for me. vgv

      I found another case on Amazon that I might have to check out. It's a lot like the WaterField but is a hardshell. It's also cheaper by a lot.
