I think it's safe to say that "prophecies" like the ones you’re describing are a mix of selective reading, loose interpretations, and retrofitting to match events after the fact. Here’s the thing with a lot of these so-called predictions: they’re often vague enough to seem accurate only in hindsight, or they’re twisted to match whatever history needs them to. The idea that ancient texts precisely "predicted" modern atheism, communism, evolution, or anything in our society is more an exercise in stretching the text than actual prophecy. What’s happening here isn’t foresight; it’s confirmation bias-picking out details that seem to fit while ignoring the obvious misses. If a prophecy really was precise and consistent, it wouldn’t need to be buried under metaphor or interpreted through wildly different contexts. If these predictions were truly accurate, we wouldn’t need a team of interpreters to spell them out centuries later. Prophecies that need extensive reinterpretation, especially after events have occurred, don’t stand up as reliable foresight. They’re more like retroactive storytelling.

And under this my Daniel 9 post because far to many have placed the opinion of religious men as idols in there minds above the word of God saying a thing about Jesus is an end times evil thing. Daniel 9:25-27. Twisting the most precious thing Jesus did for us and thinking it is end time evil prophecy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. This was the period from the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem till Jesus came to it. Just because it says troublous times doesn't make it the time of troubles you can use similar words and in different orders to mean different things. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Jesus from the time he started going out preaching the kingdom to the cross was threescore and two weeks. And it clearly says this is talking about Jesus the "Messiah" that he is cut off not for him self because he went to die not for him self but the ones that would believe on him. Then it goes on to talk about how Rome would come and destroy the city after that. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Now the midst of the week is the "threescore and two weeks" And Jesus was the one that confirmed the new covenant with many before and after the cross. Jesus caused the animal sacrifice to stop because he was the fulfilment of it didn't you wonder why Israel from that time stopped animal sacrifice? The "overspreading of abominations" is the long way of saying sin so he made the sacrifice stop for "overspreading of abominations" sin. Jesus made the sacrifice desolate because it cant pay for sin anymore and if people do try they are spiting on the finished work of Jesus. People come in and they say they love Jesus but look at a prophecy of him going to the cross and believe wolves lies and call it an evil thing. People say look at Daniel 9 it talks about the abomination of desolation and it doesn't at all. Just because a thing has words in it but in a different order and context doesn't make it that "overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate". The only place that says it is in Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. Do we believe Jesus where the believers are the temple or the wolves that need to have things as a physical thing like the stumbling block that physical Israel had that rejected Jesus they want a physical kingdom and for them to pretend to be the light they need so called Christians to believe in a physical 3rd temple just like they say that the physical flesh and blood people are God's people but the bible says flesh and blood are not his people. If you are born again in Jesus you are the temple and we are not gathered yet that comes at the second coming the 1st resurrection when we are gathered into the spiritual kingdom. During the 3 and 1/2 years the man of sin has to overcome the believers the lot of the world will tread the temple of God the believers in Jesus who is the holy city not a physical one but a spiritual one.

A word on Daniel 9 even growing up I knew it was Jesus going to the cross it was only when the internet came about I learned that other said it was some end times thing confusing even me for a time. When I was young I didn't get the absolute importance of Daniel 9 it is Jesus going to the cross paying for sin the overspreading of abominations is just a long way of saying sin. But even more important this is a test and put there on purpose for this because ANY that say evil about Jesus has not the Holy Spirit of God so all that say there is a seven year tribulation using Daniel 9 as end times about an evil man they are not of God far from him and leavened. Most of them worship Babylon that is Jesus rejecting Israel more to the point Jerusalem in bondage and Ezekiel 37 is the first resurrection and the start of the 6th seal the second coming even Revelation 20 tell us the last war against the true Israel is 1000 years from now after Satan is let back out against the believers that where in the first resurrection. We are told the small people the robbers of the born again believers try and establish the vision they are still trying to force God right now for the war of God and Magog that is not for them but what is for them is the 10 around it that Obama will come take over give power to and he will hold them from them that are Babylon until the 6th seal when Jesus coems takes him away alive for the lake of fire then the 10 having no one to hold them back will turn on Babylon and burn her as God wants. Some before that will be born again the rest will be gone in fire yet as Jesus said the ones coming in his name saying he is Christ we are told to watch and be carful of the false believers so called believers leavened having and other Jesus another gospel yes Jesus is Christ but they have not the true one at all they are fully leavened and fallen away. They don't know they say wating on the falling away and I look out and I find it hard to even find another that is truly saved it is few so watch because many will be offended at the persecution coming they will turn on each other because they believe a lie they don't have to suffer and tribulation in the 5th seal is to refine the believers to get them saved and wrath is in the 6th and is a lot worse and a lot shorter and is on the lost. As Jesus said love is to give your life for your friends this is not a one way street like the leavened would have being selfish they want Jesus on the cross to suffer for them but not to suffer back for him so the few will suffer for his name showing him that same love back for him because that is what you do for your friend.

Many believers in Jesus Christ have lost faith in the 'bricks and mortar buildings". The men in the pulpit are to be feeding the sheep. However, the sheep are working to survive and feeding the Pastors. Church has become a business - tax exempt. Pastors need to get a real job and labor like their flock. Be an example.
