Record Store Day Black Friday '22: Reaction
I buy records to listen to, not to collect. What is the use of having thousands of records if you never listen to them. ?
Love this Sunday sessions 🔥🔥🔥
Such a great collection !!!!
Sign me the fuck up for some Type O Negative
Top Selection ! Love the groovy tune at 8:00
looks like a nice jazz collection from the sixties and late fifties. if their in vg+ condition they are worth $50. or more each!🙏😄
PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn, thank you for turning me on to that first song! Fantastic!
This is transcendent.
You look like Les Claypool 20 years ago! I honestly thought you were his next of kin.
The retail price was 75$?
Yes
@@hybridrecordstx thx
Great pick-ups!
How much did you pay for the collection? They will never tell you because they rob the client. My guess 500 dollars 😢
Two adults making a deal isn’t a robbery. Most likely the seller just wanted them gone
we dont need to see your face just your hands packing the records ....
Why post this non info ,. Or is it for under forty people. I been buying records vintage for 55 years ....most of this i seen 500 times.
I think this video is pretty short sighted. The “vinyl revolution” will die if younger people don’t continue to purchase. While independent record shops are obviously a huge part of this, someone who hasn’t ever bought a record is way more likely to see one at Walmart and gain interest, than to go into a record store having never purchased vinyl before. I also see very different business models - I’ve never bought a used record from a big box store, while I’ve never bought a new record from an indy store.

Nice collection
Heard the first song and yeah...Great taste.
Very nice! Any Keith Whitley?
Don’t Close Your Eyes
Not the worst list of the sort ive seen but definitely shaky
I mean… a lot of Sabbath albums have to be on this list. Easy. Maybe a few Iron Maiden. Would I be able to throw in British Steel? I love that album. All classics.
Some nice stuff shown here. I stumbled on a first pressing of Freddie Hubbard 'Goin' Up' a few months back. Unfortunately, it sticks☹
It has been three weeks now since I posted my reply to you regarding your lack of musical knowledge. You are sending scammers to my reply's I would like it to stop. If not I will inform Google, give them your channel details and have you shut down. I hope its the last time I have to write to regarding this. Please take heed of this NEW message It will be in your best interest to do so. BTW Is the content of this reply to you, the way you normally do Business?
Nice haul of records, great music channel and just subscribed.
Hi, I am not being mean here but you need to learn about some of the artists you are displaying. For example: John Cage is NOT a Classical composer. He is an experimental Composer. Many of the titles you rushed through I have in my collection, and I play my vinyl. I saw you give Mahogany Rush "Strange Universe" a very quicks pass. If your not familiar with the Recording Artists you are about to sell to people, you should have a caveat in your blurb, which say...I know nothing about the recording artists I am about to sell you. However, given you very young age I will forgive your lack of musical knowledge. Discogs will not help you there. I suggest you join any number of Vinyl Communities that are available to you online if you want to know about Vinyl, its Musical History and Artists. Stay safe and go well.
Experimental is a sub genre of “modern classical”. This video was not a history lesson so you might want to watch another creator if that’s what you’re looking for
Your Majesty is too forbearing and kind to condescend to make this "helpful" comment.
sounds like your expiration date was around 1970
@@video2000_TV you keep on sending the same reply. STOP IT. I do not wish to hear from you any more. GOOD BY.
Your channel came on my feed. So I came, I saw and I subbed.
you would do better staying away from this guy's channel. After viewing two of his video feeds: he knows next to nothing about the music he displays. Don't be fooled by him, there are far more knowledgeable musicologists online that you should turn to for your vinyl info. Stay safe and go well.
Exciting!!! I'll do my best to be there on April 22!
Keep going. You do an amazing job.
Lemons into lemonade, Buddie. 🍋 Keep grinding! Sounds like a rad collection being sold. ✌🏻
Great review! I think I will go ahead and buy one, because I *DO* love this record, but didn't want to shell out the $100 if it was "just okay" or "not amazing." It sounds like it is worth it, if you love this album, and I do!
I just discovered your channel and subbed you up! Great Stuff! Thanks for sharing all the great records, I talk vinyl on my channel too, Thanks for sharing, Peace!
Any philosophical records in there? ;)
Wish someone would call me up when a collection is for sale 🤦🏾♀️
whats the website to your shop?
Wow, nice haul!
Best comment on this whole ordeal to date.
The big thing will always be location. If you have easy access to a record store and a walmart, you really should be supporting your local business. However, if that's not the case it at least opens up the interest for some to get into the hobby and then perhaps take the extra time to plan a trip to their nearest local record store later on.
Royal Jesters! Nice find.
Lol my cat, Kat, always insists on being part of the video but he is the official cohost.
if you get a record that skips you might get it out by cleaning the record ultrasonically it works wonders on noisy vinyl nice stuff 👍
Nice tag Carlos! Completely agree about “guilty pleasures”. Some people like some things…while other people like other things. ✌🏻
I like the way you described Quincy Jones any talents and experience as a record producer.
Totally agree. I’m very happy with my copy. Just as important and “audiophile” as what’s going on or can’t buy a thrill. It’s a bloody masterpiece and this is the best I’ve ever heard it.
Black or Clear vinyls from major labels, no coloured ones, but smaller labels I’ll indulge a little, as they do make it seem worthwhile.
You have a new subscriber from germany. 😎
I agree with u about this mofi version I love it and I completely agree 100% with u about the emotionally driven nonsensical review of mofi and thriller by 45rpm channel. 👍🏼
45rpm audiophile guy is a bit of a fraud in my opinion. I don’t think he really knows much about the music he’s talking about and just regurgitates other peoples words in his reviews. He obviously has a ridiculous amount of money and likes to show off all the records he’s able to buy. I’m lucky if I get a few records a month let alone every day! It’s easy to see once you know.
Why would anyone pay $100.00 for 1 of 40,000?
I now own two MoFi One-Steps, and several 45 rpm reissues. Based on my small sample set, it seems like there is more quality to be realized by going 45 rpm. However.... it really is less convenient to play 4 sides. I don't like MoFi's excessive packaging. The One-Steps take up more shelf space than double-45's, and they cost twice as much, so I really don't get it. Oh wait... I do get it..... they make more money!! As an audiophile, I'm very happy with this issue of Thriller.
