I did this to someone. I stopped being their friend after a decade of friendship even though they did nothing wrong. I needed radical change in my life and needed a different circle of friends to help me get closer to reaching my goals. Tbh I don't regret it. Also if this friend doesn't have a child it might be difficult for her to see or be around people having children. My sister wants to be single and childless for the rest of her life and I noticed as others started having children she slowly gravitated away from that social circle and made a new one with people with similar wants/desire and lifestyle. This isn't meant to hurt you, you did nothing wrong; but to help shed light on a different perspective. All the best to you and your family.
