Jefferson Lake CO Scuba Out of the Deep

Coming up from a dive. Many people ask what it's like down there. Deep is dark but beautiful steep rocks. You can occasionally run into BIG lake trout. Center of the bay by the boat ramp has a lot of that tall alpine (algae?) but cleans up nicely to the sides. Channel/riverbed drops steeply from the center of the bay down, down. Watch your SLED depth!!! (sea level equivalent) For information only

Jefferson Lake Colorado, Altitude 10,700, Temp at depth 50, Vis 10-20 and it's usually better. Deepest confirmed depth 191' through fisherman with depth finders. I'm in sidemount and buddy is single tank backmount.

Great review! I own the Apeks RK3 HD's, and I really like the power and maneuverability they give me. Great fins, just a bit too heavy. I was lucky enough to be able to test-drive a pair of Eddy Deep Sixes during a recent trip to Florida, and I love them! Stiff, powerful and the right weight. I can use the RK3 HD's nicely with a dry suit, but The Deep Sixes work with wetsuit too! They are my new favorite fins!
Good to hear about the HD's. I figured they were a great fin. I just have never dove them.
I’ve had mine for almost two years and absolutely love them. I had a question yesterday and Landon called me and answered my question in 2min and then just talked diving and dive gear for another hour. Great guys
Yes. It's pretty amazing to actually be able to talk to a live person these days. And to be able to talk to someone who designed the product and knows it inside and out is unheard of.
