Hello! i need help with this. I made my own game by using your tutorial (by the way, amazing and very helpfull job!). I added multiple enemies by copy them and when i kill one of them, rest of enemies reset their settings and go off the layout. How to fix it so that after killing an enemy, the rest of the enemies retain their settings? thank for help!!!

@@futures101 ah, I am afraid I can't really help without knowing more about your project. Since there could be many things gone wrong. But I don't really have time lately.
What is the difference between 'Add else' (when you right click on a sub-event), and creating a sub-event from the main event? They look like they do the exact same things.
"else" is usually a conditional statement. Like if this happen, then do this, else do this. "Else" is a keyboard for a default thing to run if other conditions are not met.

In your opinion what would you say is the optimal way to approach drones for a designer? thanks again for the video and best of luck on your future test flights!
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I think the best way to approach drones like learning about it one is to buy a cheap one, play with it and take it apart lol. To design one, I would start by thinking and defining requirements. Like how it would be used, how much weight it needs to support, how long flight time, how fast it needs to respond to commands and disturbance. That will drive design choices like prop size, motor size, batteries and frame designs. Might require some calculation to size everything properly.
@@BillyHau I’m starting to see why it’s so crucial to define my requirements before I jump into the design stage. I’ve found a few budget DIY drones that I think will help me better understand the drones construction and functionality. Thanks for the advice, this really helps!
@@NME10E yeah, always do some system engineering planning before diving into the design phase. This is where 15 minutes could save you 15 percent or more on the overall project cost lol. Try using eCalc for sizing components, it's a pretty good tool

How many amps does your power supply need?
That will highly depend on the number of motors and motor size. I think the lab's around 50A when tethered. LiPo can handle more pull and more cost effective. But not very helpful when tuning or developing. Since the voltage change overtime.

@@akuachi in that case, the statement checking if you are attacking probably went wrong. Please check the code where if you touch enemy you die. There should be a condition where you only die if you are NOT attacking. Either that, or when you are attacking, you forgot to set the attacking variable to true. Or maybe you can upload your code somewhere I can take a look?

When I go to the chest it still doesn’t allow me to swing the sword why is this. Edit: never mind I found it out it’s because I added the Sytsem Got_Sword to true under the timer.
When you press space after you die you can move again how do you fix this

Great! I've seen many tutorials about this, but in my opinion this is the best way. The "Global Variable" is a much clean and simply way to do it instead of "Instance variables".

Hi, did you answer this problem yet (double jump without jumping sound - as [Aidin Zolghadr] mention before)? I think you could trigger the jumping sound with the condition: "Platform On jump". Then, all problems will be solved.

@@Pesal09 hey, I am on a road trip right now, so I can't make a video. But essentially, you want to make a variable (for example highscore) that start with a number of 0. Then whenever the character die, you compare the score with highscore. If score > highscore, set highscore = score. And to make it even better, store that into a JSON file that you can load at start of game, so the highscore stay forever. Maybe you can give this a try yourself first? :)
Hi! Thanks for the great tutorial! I guess bullet shooting direction could be optimazed a bit. You can make RightDirection variable not boolean but number and give it value 180 by pressing the left arrrow and 0 by pressing the right arrow. Then, in "Keyboar - Space Pressed" action you can put "Set bullet angle motion to RightDirection degrees". In this case you shouldn't create two event to give the bullet correct direction. I tried to do that in this way and it is working! Anyway, thank you for basic idea how to solve bullet direction issue!
