This is such insightful info, Erin! I think the issues that lead to failing teachers and teaching is the same reason businesses fail; too many people are too busy working in their business to consider what's necessary to work ON their business. And so many people are stretched so thin, that they're hoping everyone else is just as committed, educated, self-aware, and thorough that they are.

Very insightful session! For clarification, when you discussed the system of providing PD to instructional staff and then immediately following up with implementation support.... What was the frequency? Did you do this on a weekly or biweekly basis?
My first year teaching sucked because the principal didn’t build rapport with me . I had a coach and she didn’t do much to build rapport with me either. I was a kindergarten sped teacher and my students had communication issues. I also had to teach a general Ed curriculum to students with communication delays smh . I hated it I only had one teacher build rapport with me and that lead teacher holds a special place in my heart .
