Back in the good 'ol days. No paying for new heroes, no battle pass, you could earn skins for free, end of game stat cards, better community (imo), Blizzard wasn't such a POS, etc. Man I wish we could all go back.

u sound like my grandma, blinded by nostalgia. literally go back to 2019 on wayback machine or sm, you'll realise ppl complained more then, then they do now. people literally ASKED to be able to buy heroes, to remove the annoying loot box system, some even suggested a battle pass and you'll realise that if you use your brain. you might not like it but the overall gameplay is genuinely better in terms of pacing, new heroes are great, more map variety. AND it feels more balanced, i can actually play all day now without raging at some crazy OP ult or sm. the only thing ruining it are THE OTHER PLAYERS, toxicity, leavers, throwers, but they were the reason I quit ow1 so basically quit lying unc cs im sure u believe "the good ol' days" are a thing irl too 💀

@@DylanB05 First off what normal person would ask to pay for heroes? Like genuinely who asked? Battle pass is mid as shit, and at least the loot box mechanic meant you didn't have to pay out the ass for every new skin, and you could earn the credits to buy them fairly easily. I'd rather have than than the shitty mechanics we have now. And yeah, OW2 made a lot of good improvements, except they fell short of their promise and dropped the ball on the entire reason they said they were making it- the story. Overall the community doesn't feel much different. Still so much toxicity and people going AFK and throwing.
