Shorten each team's term schedule by one game and then do the top four conference playoff which will add one extra week after you take it. Take take the week that was given by shortening the schedule. Then I would also take all 10 conferences and have them have a minimum rating. As far as scheduling teams, if they schedule below a certain level now, the level's higher for the strength of schedules higher for a sec team than an American conference, but American conference would still have a base standard of this. The strength of schedule they would have to play each year to qualify for that conference tournament. That's my idea
