Do you have part two?
Too much talk before patterm
You lost me at the rearranging. I’m not super experienced but was able to do the march hat. Please edit down if you’re redoing stuff
Im trying to knit this pattern and am a bit confused. The pattern is a 22 stitch repeat. For the first increase round you are to end up with 110 stitches after row 1. I ended up with 109 stitches after repearting the round 4.5 times.
Thank you Pam! I didn't watch this until I was on row 52, but that was ok. I still think of myself as a beginner crocheter. (Well, maybe after this I can be an intermediate) I mostly did it right on my own with a few "fudges." I learned a lot of details that I wasn't sure of. Very helpful.😍
why is that collar so ill fitting?
Can you reduce the pattern by 1 repeat for a better fit for women?
I know nothing about knitting or sewing, but this somehow popped up in my feed and I felt it's unfair that there's no comment under this video. I hope this video finds someone who can create wonderful sweater for their loved ones :) Thanks for hard work and sharing this!
I am making this cardigan as part of the Crochet Guild of America CAL. I am currently placing the collar. It is a quick and easy project. I enjoyed watching your video and look forward to seeing the remaining videos in this series
I am trying to find you on Instagram but I'm not finding you
I’m going to have to try cabling without a cable needle.
I’ve use the waste yarn trick for counting stitches using a crochet hook to pull waste yarn through every ten stitches in a shawl I was crocheting.
Nice explanation of mattress stitch. 50:39
How do I get the modifications you mentioned? The magic loop you used is very helpful!
Thanks. I purchased the pattern. Now to understand the gauge. I watched your video. Please check and let me know if my thinking is correct. I want to make the Sno version of the pullover. The yarn is Quattro Degrade from Lang Yarns, it is 100% cotton. It is not saying the weight but it looks like sock yarn. I made a gauge swatch 24 sts for 5 inches blocked with a size 3.5mm needles. I need 47" around plus 3" positive ease. 24 sts divided by 5 inches gives me 4.8 sts per inch. So 50 inches times 4.8 equals 240 sts and as the pattern is in 2 parts I need to cast on half of that which is 120 sts. Now for the question. Do I follow the Sno version casting on the 126 sts?
You might also consider following the TOV version and casting on 122
way too fast. no one can learn this way.
Sorry, I just found it! 🤪😂😂
What happened to the next instalment of the Oma goodness top? 😯 Have I missed something? ☺️😘
Where do I buy this pattern?

How do I join classes? I am in Canada

Gorgeous shawl! Thank you for sharing.
I've LOVED this shawl for YEARS and didn't think I had the skills enough to do it. I've turned into a shawl making fiend over the past couple of years and it's time to give it a shot..LOL. thank you for this!!
Question, I was doing great using magic loop until my yarn overs began at the end of needle one going into needle two. I couldn’t figure out how to do that successfully! I don’t really want to use 9 inch circs. I feel they will hurt my hands!
You could temporarily transfer the first stitch from needle 2 to the end of needle 1 to hold the yo in place. When you have worked the following round, put that stitch back on needle 2.
Beautiful Granny Squares! I'm working on a Sunburst Granny Square Afghan at the moment for a Friend who requested it. I learned from using the Tutorials from "Play Hooky with Me". Your Granny Squares reminds me of her Beautiful work. Your Color scheme is Very Pretty!. ❤
Thank you so much! Granny's are a favorite around here!
Thank you so much for bringing us Kate Atherley! What a wealth of knowledge and cleverness, delivered in her delightful "cheeky" style. Yes please, do this again, with hats or anything. I love my yarn shop!
Oh, i figured out my mistake, thank you!!!
not following the round 3 instructions. it gets blurry, and moves out of the frame. It would be helpful if you both showed the pattern as written, then showed the way you do cables. For a new beginner, it's confusing and for me unclear. I appreciate you posting this! just giving feedback. I'm unsure where to go to get help through this part of the hat :(
The key to this part of the hat is that as you end of Round 2, slip that last stitch to the cable needle and hold to back, move the beginning of round marker to the right hand needle, knit the next 2 stitches on the left hand needle and then purl the stitch from the cable needle. The marker will again be on the right hand side of the 2 knit stitches even though they have travelled one stitch over to the right with the cable. This is the same maneuver for each of the following even rows until row 14. At the end of row 14, work all the way up to the beginning of round marker and remove it. Slip the next 2 (knit stitches) to the cable needle and hold to the front, purl the next stitch on the left needle and then replace the beginning of round marker after it. Knit 2 stitches from the cable needle and continue in pattern around. Same maneuver for all even rows through row 24. Decreases begin at the end of Row 28: slip the last 2 stitches to a cable needle and hold to the back. Move the marker to the right needle, knit the next 2 stitches on the left needle and then purl the 2 stitches together from the cable needle, decreasing one stitch. Once the marker is in place you are essentially working Round 1 of the decrease section as written on the pattern p. 3., continue around. The beginning of round marker will be moved in the same way incorporating a decrease at the end of rounds 2 and 4. In round 7 the marker is not moved. In Round 8 it is moved to after the first stitch, and is not moved again in the remaining rows. I hope this is helpful!! Beth
Thank you! It looks like the bobble is on top of the first bobble. What am I doing g wrong do you think?
I don't understand how to move the marker starting at round 3. can you spell it out for me?
This was amazing to watch! Thank you soso much! Finally casting on my first Heidi Bears animal. I'm making the Camel! I really needed this, thank you for sharing your expertise! It helped so much to see you do it on video, instead of reading it. Love! Thank you!
Great tuturial. Much neater technique than magic loop. Especially since I'm a beginner. Thank you
I'm about to start this pattern. Just an fyi, I couldn't see what you were doing most of the time because the camera was too high. Looks like a fun pattern though! The end result is beautiful!
Thank you! I just got the pattern but I haven't knitted alot, I crochet. So I didn't really know where and how to start on this one. But I really want to try it for this barret! Because it is so so so cute and beautiful. I am gonna get me some needles ans give it a try! 😊
hello.. this looks likw a very nice sock pattern I would like to have. Is it available somewhere? thank you
It’s available on Ravelry www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/proudfoot
@@aroundthetableyarns4756 Oh great cThank you for the quick response too. Happy holidays 😊
Hi Pam, This looks quite similar a scarf pattern I am.trying to make. Working into the open spaces created by the chain one.
Huh!! You knit backwards so differently to me! My stitches don't become backwards mounted, they're just regular.
I’m dying at my mistake. Lesson: tink back and correct, even live!
1:07:54 OMG! I have spent HOURS! And HOURS! Of my life on this top! 😅 I started it during covid…. So I guess 2020! So many times I almost GAVE UP! TOOOOOOOO complicated! Making the grannies was FUN!!!!!! But! Then the assembly is IMPOSSIBLE to figure out! I now HAVE it almost finished but only because my sister helped me and we attached safety pins similar to the much more efficient little things you use!! I never found an updated pattern OR her videos! I have RIPPED out! So many times! I found YOU!~ by googling OMA Goodness top! Too late to help me!!!All I have left to do is MY edging. I saw some where where she did a wider bottom sort of “band” thingy and the neck finish was wider..I’m going to search her videos that I soooo appreciate YOU finding and shaRING EXACTLY HOW!!!! ANYWAY! I’M EXCITED TO SEE YOUR “LAST” EDGING “CLASS” WILL YOU have “class” show their finished? Maurine C
First time here. I think I'll stay a while.
😊i want to see some hand bags please
