My son officially passes me!
I am running 40+A and Landon is 3 rows behind me on Lite B. He's moving up to A next year, and has been threatening me he was going to catch me. Well... He finally did. And I could not even keep up to get more video. So proud!

Stark Varg, Single Track
Переглядів 3,8 тис.Рік тому
Thanks to Justin @ I-69 Motorsports for giving me the opportunity ride the Stark Varg. This was my first experience on an E-Bike. It was a blast to ride. I found I liked the 50hp mode the best in the short time I rode. The bike felt light and nimble but was very planted. Torque was amazing! My only complaint really, was the range. We rode less than 20 miles at a decent B-A Class pace and it was...
Chevrolet LS Knock Sensors Testing
Переглядів 146Рік тому
4…. Yes, 4…. Bad knock sensors straight out of the package. GM Service Parts. Actually worse than my originals. Test them before you ever start install. It’ll save you a lot of headache. 🔴 Update- went to local autozone. Picked up same Ac Delco/GM sensors. Test on their counter before I purchased. Both good and solved my codes. Theory- Rock Auto packaging or Shipper damages them on the way to me.

The only one that rode Christmas Eve. Single digits outside. But she was determined to ride in the snow.

2023 Beta model demo ride at NATRA in Westpoint, TN. Organized by Adventure Offroad, Leoma TN. I was probably the only weirdo that really liked the 500 on the single. LOL I've raced big bores for very long time, and I'm a big guy so they do good for me. This is the most rideable and forgiving 500cc bike I've ridden. I think I could ride it all day. It was just FUN!

2023 Beta model demo ride at NATRA in Westpoint, TN. Organized by Adventure Offroad, Leoma TN. The 350 Race Edition was probably the most popular bike at the demo. The KYB suspension is probably the best out of the box I have ridden. Smooth power all they way through with equal torque.

2023 Beta model demo ride at NATRA in Westpoint, TN. Organized by Adventure Offroad, Leoma TN. Great bike for what it's designed for. Definitely not a bike for an aggressive fat boy. LOL

2023 Beta model demo ride at NATRA in Westpoint, TN. Organized by Adventure Offroad, Leoma TN. The 390 was my favorite bike I rode this day. Just felt good everywhere and that little extra explosiveness I like.

2023 Beta model demo ride at NATRA in Westpoint, TN. Organized by Adventure Offroad, Leoma TN. The KYB suspension is probably the best out of the box I have ridden. The Beta 300 is not an explosive 2 stroke. If you are looking for a smooth and torquey 2 stroke, you can not go wrong with a Beta 300.

I’m glad to hear the raw sound of the KLR. So many great potential videos get messed up with an awful music track. Subscribed 👍
This is hilarious. Just plain outworking all those dirt bikes and quads on the old 1st gen. Nicely done sir.
@@Motovader72 😂 thanks. It’s so fun to do that.
What mirrors are those. Great riding BTW!
@@harleyrudell5690 KTM Military Folding mirrors
My aunt's 40yo Honda glx, you just put in the key, turn it, give it a light kick all the way through, and it's on. No need for all this crap, just give it a good kick, if it doesn't start, pull the choke.
This has successfully scared me away from making this my first bike lmao hats off to you man you are incredible on that machine
@@villiamthegreat 😂 it’s a great first bike. It’s a better first bike vs what I’m doing with it. 😆
Throwing around an old school KLR650 like 'it do'. Well done brother. Respect 👍👏
Killin those trails....and being polite on top of that!
The Zillas went first and had to make the path lol, the mudlites just had to follow his allready compacted tracks... not an even battle if you ask me :)
My ass
Do they idle that fast? mine is idling slower, but tends to shut off when i hit the gas from zero to watata😂
I like it idled up a little higher.
This video made my day! Passing ppl on a Klr on single track with the horn 😂 you’re a legend
Just imagine if he a 2 gloves on
😂
I have a 1989.. Selling it this week. Just a little too cumbersome for me.
What sprocket do you have on the front?
In this video, it’s stock gearing. But later I went 1 tooth smaller on front. And prefer that ratio for what I ride. And still able to cruise at 55-60 comfortably.
It does show why i like a 14 tooth sprocket. I wonder what the rider thought when he was passed by a KLR using his horn. It would be good to know what tires he had.
Still running stock gearing here. I did drop a tooth on front later. And liked it better. Tires are Tusk DSport on rear, Shinko 216MX front. Both DOT
Thanks. I know the camera doesn’t show how steep hills really are, but there were some places that looked like some slick terrain for a KLR.
Quads and dirt bikes both saying, "Was that a KLR that just passed me?" 😂
😂
Anyone who knows the KLR can see this guy has AMAZING throttle control.
Thanks
Awesomeness !!
Incredible skill set my klr brother!🫡👏
DUDE!! I've been kicking my new to me XR400 2001 to death, tried this, and BAM, it started right right up!!! Thank you for posting this, now it's time to go riding!
All them guys stuck on that hill here you come ripping by like it’s a cake walk. 😂😂😂😂
Guess you need to step up your game. 😂
Yep. 😂
Man that hurt again just watching it.
It was scary from my view
A fellow rider who makes a KLR do everything people claim it can't do! Nicely done!
The machete on the crash bar is so mad max I love it 😂
I dream to be this good of a rider one day
What mirrors are you running on that?
KTM Military Folding Mirrors
I was on my edge of seat watching you going through trails haha!!!
The most honest opinion/review of the stark I've seen. Thanks for the clutch and valving input. Also, the first person riding closer to my pace, so i have an actual idea of how long the battery would last for my riding. Thank you.
What tires are you running?
Shinko 216MX front, Tusk DSport. Rear
Gotta have a clutch.
This is some epic riding! So awesome. I’m looking for my first bike and currently having a hard time picking between a DRZ 400 and a KLR 650.
Thanks. My opinion is, if you want a more trail oriented bike for shorter trips, the DRZ is great. If you’re packing more gear and more pavement or road riding, KLR. I had built an XR dual sport and it was phenomenal on trail. But I got tired of riding it after 80-100 miles. The KLR is much more comfortable for a 150-200 mile day.
Amazing riding. What mirrors are those?
Thanks. They use to be called “KTM Military Folding Mirrors”. I think now they are “KTM Enduro Mirrors”. My favorite folding mirrors.
@tthusky510 appreciate it! I'm new to 2 wheels and recently bought an '05 KLR and as corny as it sounds, these videos are inspirational
Thanks for posting! Hard to find good riding examples of KLR650 in the woods. I'm wanting to get this bike for some long dual sport enduros.
Flyin I would love to see a lap time comparison
I wish I had done that. It felt like my time would have faster on the Stark simply because of exit corner speed being insane.
@@tthusky510 yeah i would think slipping the clutch, shifting from send to third, would really add up
hell of a rider, I believe he could do this single track even on sport bike with proper tyres :)
Thank you
Nice ridin there Trimmer.
Thanks
Thanks for posting. Sure was hoping it could get 40-60 miles at the 40HP setting. Darn! 20 miles is not much. Great video. Thanks.
I’ve seen one report of 33 miles at the 25hp.
Thanks. Was just hoping for more thinking that if it can do a 30 minute moto on an MX track then off road single track for 40-50 miles would be doable but I guess not. A lot of money for something that can only do 25 miles or so. @@tthusky510
@@amitypets7806 yeah. If they get that range up, it’ll be a game changer.
May be a big guy, but you can ride
Thanks Eric. I really need to get back in shape and drop about 50lbs. My conditioning is terrible right now. 😆
how long was the ride ride time for those 20 miles?
1hr Non stop other than the times we stop to talked on vid for a minute. Actual was under 20. Each lap is close to 8 miles. We made 2 laps. Takes under 30min to make a lap. Then there some short field riding to get to a from trail. Maybe 2 miles of that.
If you look. I started this lap at 88%. Ended at 57%.
Amazed these guys arent catching those trees on a regular basis in there. Wet dirt and trees right next to, and sometimes in, the track. Yikes.
what is the full name of the model? what year? stock dampers?
2006 KLR 650. Stock other than heavier springs and 15wt fork oil.
lol you were completely dusting the dirt bikes. that's a beast up the hills
All smiles when I pass them. Lol
Impressive it's a heavy bike to be doing singletrack
Great riding
Maybe do a video of your KLR and highlight mods you've done. Great riding by the way!
I can do that. But heavier springs, exhaust, and bar risers are all that’s done to it.
You cleared the trail out on the klr.
I'm very impressed I've said it forever it's not the bike it's the you passing all the people that didn't make it a KLR650 is wicked
That's the kind of riding I do on my klr 650. Too heavy bad brakes bad suspension they say
Dude that bike just sounds awesome 👌 and I can hear the response when he just barely throttles it!! Like it's instantly response!! That's so awesome 👌 im just now getting into the whole duel sport and enduro motorcycle riding, and im still not sure which one im going to end up getting yet!! I love husqvarna and I love ktm and I love kawasaki and yamaha and honda, but I really have been digging on the new Ducati scrambler and triumph scrambler duel sport and enduro bikes! Any recommendations?
