Terrible advice, the towel is obviously dirty (with plain dust) even if you wash it after every use, which you don't. Instead, use a fresh piece of cotton, soak it in WARM water, squeeze it, and then clean the rubber in a direction from base to top. Then air-dry it and wrap it in food-wrap until you use it again. The cotton and the wrap are always fresh and single-use, therefore they don't impart old dirt or lint on your rubbers. Do this and you'll see how your rubbers will just refuse to deteriorate with time. Practically zero cost, by the way.

i think normal soap water will work just fine. It will remove oil and dirt the same way
Pretty much I wouldn't recommend using a lot of soap as people have told me it damages rubber sometimes
Safest way to do that is preparing a small bucket of water and adding just a few drops of dish washing detergant (idk if there is a specific name for that product) but just a few, touching it with a sponge and gently cleaning the top sheet, and removing the residue with a piece of cloth.

Hi! thanks for this review. Been almost of year now. Do you have any inputs after one year of usage? Did it live up to its expectation? Did you find the bat too tacky to the extent of being slow?
How do you manage the rubber either when you are not using it or keeping in the case if you want to keep the rubber fresh as much as possible?

It removes the dirt gathered from playing ball, the cleaner removes the dirt which helps the rubber become more “rubbery”

Might be incorrect: For me, who has been playing for 10 years now, i usually go in a circular motion with an average amount of cleaning foam, then go vertical from the handle of the racket. If you rub on it too much, the control will decrease, don't use too much foam tho, the spin and control will even decrease more. Hope this helps even tho it's 3 years late!
