What it the title of Lara Parker's book about Collinwood in the 1920s, a story with a young Elizabeth Collins (before she married Paul Stoddard). Is there an audio version?
BRAVO!! I was highly impressed with what I heard in the first 10 minutes especially, and what I heard from 1:30 to 1:40. I have recently concluded that the Dems/liberals/Politically Correct enforcers made a serious and fatal mistake when the Politically Correct forces took over academia and other institutions in 1984: they should have emphasized the commonality between lower-income persons of all races, genders, etc., but instead they promoted the intense PC dichotomy of "white males/oppressors" versus "women and minorities/oppressed" and made it abundantly obvious that there was no common ground or win-win situation that would benefit the large majority. Instead, all "white males" were demonized collectively, and that the stereotypes that "white males" were "oppressors" and that everyone else was "oppressed" was rigidly propagated. This pushed millions of lower-income "white males" to the right politically. We can all agree that, had one to two million fewer lower-income "white males" had voted for Donald Trump, he would not have won the election. PC knee-jerks would blame those who cast these swing votes for Trump as being motivated exclusively by "racism and sexism," while doing nothing to improve conditions for lower-income voters of all races. I feel that PC and dogmatic Feminism have failed miserably-with their extreme emphasis on gender while ignoring the importance of class, their emphasis on upper-class gender quotas while ignoring the needs of the working class, failing to address the evils of CLASSISM and GREED, while blaming "racism and sexism" for all social problems, and condemning anyone who feels otherwise as "racist and sexist," Political Correctness has been an immense failure.
The one thing I have to say, almost everything here is arguable, all a matter of opinion and so much miss information. I think the author lives a sheltered life, she really is far off, knowing nothing of the reality she is attempting to give reason.
This 'prequel' is very much in the spirit of the original series! The burning of the original Collins House and birth of Barnabas is an interesting take on the ghoulish origins of the Collins family.
Are there more narrated like this? It's awesome! ❤️
This is fantastic! ❤️ 😊 Thank you for sharing this with us ❤️
Joanna Goings's voice is like silk.
I just want to hear the theme from BLOODLINE without the stupid credits read over it!
Cassandra Peterson is Elvira, hmm...
Hell yes! Thank you, I just finished Return to Collinwood and needed more. The Phoenix stuff is amazing! Cassandra should have known better toward the end, but she showed her humanity and that's why her character i and this show s so great. I don't know why an origin story wasn't a movie instead of the ones we got.
Well thank you very much. This is a true gift. But where is the second part of the return of dark shadows I return to Collingwood. I really want to hear all of that particular story. Thanks. Excellent. Thanks again.
I dont think there is one-my understanding is they did not continue 'Return to Collingwood'
New dark shadows??? Yesssss 😀
Thank you so much for this, can you upload more of these Dark Shadows?
I bet you didn't know that your family had such a ghoulish origin!
@@adamantman3200 you should meet my cousin Barnabas.
@@CuteLesbo69 ONLY IF IT'S BEFORE SUNSET!
@@adamantman3200 ph, he has a skin condition that prevents him from being in sunlight, but he loves to entertain in the evenings.
@@CuteLesbo69 I'll be sure to wear my gold crucifix. I never go anywhere without it!
Stupid, hard-working suckers. No wonder they voted for Trump.
It really feels like an extended episode. The old music cues😎
Joanna Going and Lara Parker are magic together as Laura Collins and Angelique Collins.
I wish they would let Joanna Going play the role of Victoria.
