youre completely wrong. let me correct you Tesla Autopilot is L2, same as xiaopeng lcc, or Li auoto lcc or Huawei ADS lcc and any car doing lane center, lane keep, auto acceleration/deceleration, stopvand go in lane. So is every other car that having Lcc like BMW, Volvo, Cadi etc. Tesla FSD is L3.5/4, xaiopeng xNGP or Li NAD, NIO NOP+ are L3.5 at best.

@@eaojnr You are wrong, Tesla L2 can barely drive easily in US. China is a totally different specially in city Street it won't be allowed by government unless L3 or L4. L2 FSD will be allowed for Tesla on highway until gained more experience for city street. Elon broke safety regulation of L2 by removing hand on wheel feature.

@@eaojnr Elon just realised his FSD is level 2 and that's why he went to china so he can use Chinese road to Test and train FSD AI. China is the holy grail to train autonomous AI

@@ruthenensis i hope so, but perhaps everything about GDPR, consumer protection implications and partnerships (map providers, data providers and aggregators etc) need to be addressed first. But Europe should have access to LCC already

@@eaojnr Indeed LCC is already here in EU. But it's seems to be less good than XNGP (lots of ghost brakes and line assist is unstable and shaky).... As far as I can understand....

@@ruthenensisthat’s one of the common issues with LCC. Occlusion of shadows needs more work. Also there is a prediction - reaction lag that needs more work. Prediction and reaction sometimes lags realtime occurrence which leads to some uncomfortable circumstances. I hope it gets better, but I suspect it won’t for the cars we have now because LCC is baked into the Inferencing and actuation Hardware stack from their supplier. But let’s see.

actually, it's hardware that is bundled for no good and justifiable use. Compared to MONA M03 which has no Lidar but able to navigate same scenarios, it was an unecessary cost shifted to customers based on an old architecture. I guess they recognize this, reason they are now doubling down on zer use of lidar in new releases... starting with the MO3.

you might get it... they''ll need to calibrate to support your side of driving.... or perhaps HK government might have more requirements on them for security and compliance, which might take more time... nevertheless, you can just drop over the boarder and try it out in shenzhen
