The Imporium is basically Candyland/Christmas land/Disney world for a serious guitarist like me! For many years it was mainly very high end acoustic guitars, mandolins, banjo’s etc.. But in the past 5-10 years the amps, pedals, and incredible electrics have become equally stocked.. And they’re even starting to bring in boutique quality bass guitar’s and amps (Aguilar heads & cabinets Vintage 70’s jazz basses!) I love that I can go and actually play an Amp like a Top Hat Club Royale in an actual brick and mortar shop with a Don Grosh S-type and a BJFE honey bee & a Stymon bigsky!

The sound is really not great, you should try the same guitar with another brand of amp (which sounds).

Thank you for the clean tone tutorial. To hear the real difference, we have to hear the acoustic and clean sound.

I had a 1960 es345 in 1985 it was mint except for grovers and the original case and no Bigsby, bought it for $1500 and had to sell it because of a child on the way, i sold it to We Buy Guitars on 48thstreet in Nyc and got $1500 for it, two nights later i was watching SNL and G E Smith was playing it.

$247 new in 1959....

Makes me want to pull out my own Miris J and play something, although never as good as this! Good job! And yes these guitars are the best of anything out there....no better brand. This is the top model. Mine has gold foil pickups and that makes it even better. Definitely should go for gold foils on a Miris J!

I did some work at the Santa Cruz shop when they moved to Harvey west. Eric poulsen shaped the necks back then. He build me an my wife a guitar in that shoo for our wedding.
