Removed the housing of the gauge and relocated the pcb of the rev counter to gain place under the needle

@lyro2 Didn!t got any training but now I have :) Just grab a Haynes and/or a friend who knows a little bit of mechanics. Time solves everything :) If You interested in this field and have the common tools You'll be able to learn quick.

@Jamciboy thankyou. Ive been researching for the past 2 daysand its getting frustrating. One more question, did you have some mechanical training before you started this? I am seriously considering doing it myself now but I dont know how difficult it would be to learn as I go?

hi, my 205 died yesterday :( I didnt not look after her well for too long, it was too late when I started :( Does anyone know of anyone who could resore her in the UK (I can't do it myself unfortunatlly, well not unless told what to do) Mine is not a GTI and it seems no one wants to help unless I have a GTi :(

i found my fixes too .. on my friend 605 it was a temp sensor same situation, and on my 406, bad grounding from a great mechanic whom forgot to tighten the screw on the motor block. So good luck .. Stil in my opinion a great car, ... easy to fix.

@Jamciboy It has been solved. The wires of the water temp sensor of the ECU was reversed. Thanks AutoData(piece of s*it)

I had that problem with my 306, with a XU7JP engine. I think i fixed it. In my case, it was the wire from the gas pedal that was a little loose, so I tightened it and afterwards tried some injection cleaner and it was ok.

almost same problem here, got a 406 with same engine, and a friend of mine a 605 exact same prob. Have you discovered the bug ! Let us know .Thanx.

You can fit a 6 speed box from a 306 GTi6.

Hi! I think it were the valves. The clearance was a bit much. But the sound quality of the vid is bad. Maybe the exhaust wasn"t on...

It was a low cost project, approx 2500 Euro. Everything made by myself except the bodywork and the paint. But in a few months time there will be another video, like I wrote: The story continues :)
