Have you done some suspension work Pwoida? The car seems more lively.
nah stinkbrah. cars still stockbrah. the tyres are pretty knackered though from the previous phillip island day.
@Pstar467 Pwoida's just a wheel man then. I see, I see. (It's Brad btw)
@@stinkbra braaaaddddd-brahhh. keeping it stock, for real this time. haha
Nice, driving, you're really throwing it through those corners! What modifications if any does it have? Looks like you have a bucket seat there?
Cheers. It does have a a Recaro RSG drivers side seat, otherwise the car is standard.
💞Wow💜💜💜💜🤍💜💜💜
Quality driving
V8 sooooooooo gut
Needs more V4
Tuff
When did you come to sydney!?
Just read description 😅
What a swift euro donk!
Sounds magnificent!!
Losing buckets of time into corners. You're backing off the throttle 50 meters before you actually properly brake.
overall app?
Mad for tar
lmao I thought this was fn
Great work
I want more of this I wonder what’s different in the hks gt2 I haven’t re search enough on it
Gt2 kit is apparently morr robust. Otherwise it outputs the same amount of boost
Drone ???
My dude i actually own an s2k to
amazing
did you ever dyno this setup?
Sounds like the intro of petrolicious.
Just saw your super charger conversion. Did you lap winton still na? What sort of times were you getting. My s2000 was flatout running 1.36 (standard everything bug alot of weight removed)
S2000 ran a 1:33 n/a, engine was standard. Not much weight reduction, it had suspension and wing modifications
Very quick mate. Is it still a 2.0lt?
Yep standard f20c with hks supercharger
Those induction noises are absolutely mental
Good driving!! Sure can rotate that thing!
Cheers!
what exhaust do you have here?
- PPE 4-1 header, 400 cell cat, OEM MR2 Spyder exhaust.
Looks awesome- I'm in Aus too and part way through a K24A3 swap in my MRS. Any pointers/advice before I finish installing everything?
Hey mate, I would say ensure you've wired up the fuse box on the firewall correctly as apparently not doing so may damage the Honda ecu. Clearance between the intake manifold and the alternator is really tight so really ensure that you've made the space beating the crap out of the firewall prior to installing the engine. If you're running an IACV, I had to run a iacv rotation adapter plate from Ktuned to change the orientation of the iacv positioning to clear the firewall. I'm running an OEM RBC intake manifold and learned the hard way that the brake booster vacuum fitting will not clear the top of the chassis, so I had to remove the engine just to sort that out by, removing that fitting and drilling and tapping a new fitting underneath the intake manifold for a vacuum port. That's all that really comes to mind for now, if I had known all the above prior to starting the project it would have saved me quite a fair bit of time! So hopefully this was helpful.
@@Pstar467 Cheers! I think I'm avoiding a lot of those problems- standalone ECU and Bosch DBW throttle, plus PRC manifold which clears (I've already done the alternator "massaging"). Are you running A/C still? I found clearance to the pump and pulley was super tight, I've massaged it a bit but it's still very close
@@lindsaywood2509 good choice with the dbw. Out of curiosity what kind of throttle pedal are you running for this? Not running a/C unfortunately.
@@Pstar467 I'm using a Toyota 86 throttle pedal, I just made a small adapter bracket to fit it. It's a nearly identical match to the factory pedal. There's some other ones from camrys and rav 4s which are very similar too
Any ideas how much power and torque does it make with these mods? Sounds amazing.
Not too sure. As it's been running off a slightly tweaked basemap. I'd estimate it'd be making 130-135kw. Way over 200nm of torque. It definitely feels adequate in a relatively light chassis. With a good tune and a proper 2.5-3 inch exhaust, it should put down over 150kw atw. As a reference even as is it feels much faster than my N/A s2000.
@@Pstar467 thanks! Yeah, lightness is perhaps one of the best things about the MR2 mk3.
My lord the noise!!!
You definitely want an LSD with that kind of power in such a light chassis but aside from that seems like a great build and looks to handle great on the track! Maybe try doing some low speed drifting and get comfortable with the weight transfer? It looked like you were a little bit tentative with the throttle in the corners. Mad respect either way I know it's a lot harder than it looks haha
Cheers, due to the lack of LSD it's difficult to put the power down and required light throttle application on some parts otherwise it'd just open up and won't do much, especially on the cambered corners.
Hi Peter, great driving and love the way the camera shows the speed too! 1080p 60fps with stabilisation off seems to capture it well. Any other camera tips? 😅
cheers! camera is just a gopro hero 4. Main thing is to have the spot metering on i found. as without it just overexposes the image in front of the windscreen.
Hi Peter, I know this is 3 years old but are you still racing the Clio. I’m getting one together and was wondering if you had any advise with it?
Hello, sold the clio a while ago. Not much advice I can give. Mine was bog standard, it's a great little reliable car.
Whp?
Whp?

What tyres are you on here? This lap sure is rapid, even if there's room for improvement!
Cheers, it's on A050's here. Heaps of room for improvement for sure! Not a local track so not sure when I'll be back here.
Sequential gear box?
Stock s2000 6 speed
Like the sound of you s2k! Great performance and skill !!
thanks!
Any issues with the charger ?
How reliable is the charger
No issues, had it on for about 30,000km, driven to the track and back. Has done roughly 15 track days with the charger.

Awesome! Our cars are very similarly paced, I think mine might have a little more grip and less weight. I want that Honda VTEC power & sound though :)
Thanks mate! Your conering speeds are definitely faster than mine. Your car is really really well setup, and of course very well driven! I couldn't imagine how fast you'd be with a Kseries in there! I've never weighed my S2000 but i'd imagine it'd be in the low 1200kg range, or high 1100kg range.
