Does the monte carlo in boldin use historical market return data?
AI... This scares me, mostly when used by people that do not understand what they are asking about. Had one model insist there was 7 records in a particular category of a data set. When asked to list the records, it showed 6 records but insisted there was 7 records, even when questioned about it. The number of wrong decisions that will be made by people that do not understand.... could be staggering losses to a company.
You have a great podcast, Steve, I have been binging on previous episodes, and some listened to a second time.
Great addition! It would be nice to be able to include pension into net worth. 50% of folks believe pension should be part of net worth. I realize pensions are guaranteed monthly payments and not considered an asset. But honestly a 401K should be treated the exact same way because the money needs to be spread out to keep from becoming depleted

Hi Boldin. I find your software very useful and thank you for the heads up on the new features (I didn't realize you have a channel). If possible, please consider adding the ability to use historical actual market returns for projections. Thanks again.

I love your software. Please consider adding a feature that tells you how much you can spend in retirement (vice you telling the software what you are going to spend). Also, have the software determine your spending limits using a risk based guardrail strategy, and how much your spending can increase or decrease when the guardrails are hit.

Just became a user. I’m liking it so far.
Great software , helpful videos and excellent customer support!
Much appreciated!
Good point about getting HEALTHY now. Nothing sadder than seeing 80+ people with health issues the just started at the gym. I bet they wish they started earlier in life.
Nice to hear you stop thinking about financials when you are retired.
Request… if we can build in dividend distribution in a Roth account that would be great. I believe right now, It’s considered taxable income in the distribution. Thank you for such a great tool.❤

So glad to see Christine on your podcast. She’s the best! Her literature and guidance has put me on a great footing in retirement. She’s giving me the confidence to do it myself. In combination with your tool, of course. Side note … I’m in search of a advice only advisor with significant experience…. Someone that I can walk through this with for the next several years. Any ideas? There are too many to choose from.
Christine is a rare financial expert who dedicated her career to educating investors of all ages

Great video! How do you see advise[r] compensation evolving? Is there anything better then flat-fee (generally..)? Any thoughts on IUL, FixedIndexedAnnuities? Any plans on supporting them in Boldin?

How do most of you guys still make a profit in the financial market? Even with the downturn of the economy and ever increasing life standards
As a beginner investor, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Mary Patricia Hester is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessment, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
This is correct, Mary's strategy has normalized winning trades for me also, and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started..
The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but it's very advisable you make use of professional
Yes, I agree with you. Her platform is wonderful and her strategies are exceptional.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach out to her easily?
You learn more from failing than from success, and that learning builds on itself; Edison said he learned ten thousand ways how not to invent the light bulb.
Success is not built on success. It's built on failure, It's built on frustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in Life
You are correct. I suggest that people know the right to grow their earnings , because that's the only way to survive inflation.
Making money is the plan and with Bitcoin your plans can be accomplish
As a novice, it's vital to have a mentor for accountability. I'm being advice by a reputable crypto consultant, Marion Trimble.
I really appreciate Mrs Trimble influence during this global pandemic Lock down
Sounds familiar, I have heard her name on several occasions and both her success stories in trading big kudos to this woman.
Gilbert is a very popular guest among you podcasters. I guess because he gives the perfect answers to all the standard questions. Everything is great, I made all the right decisions, I just love retirement. Never a concern, never a worry. After a while it gets kinda hard to believe. A little more reality might be a good thing. What does he struggle with? In hindsight, what has he done wrong?
I have analyzing your channel and see your video thumbnails are not very eye-catching but if you use correct channel tags and video tags, search related title.
I am really working on my exit plan including putting a bid in for a home in my dream location in preparation for 2 to 3 years left of work. Fingers crossed that I get this stuff done and completed because it will help me focus on my future
Very good software.
Great interview. Keys to a Successful Retirement is a terrific book I buy for all my direct reports. Thank you.
Very good product; have been a paying user for quite a while. But honestly, these sorts of name changes are just lame. All such statements that companies put out like "Our new name reflects our core principles, blah blah blah...." are, frankly, idiotic. "Boldin" by itself means absolutely nothing, so it "reflects" nothing. What's the real reason? Some marketing wizard suggested a name change to get attention? To appeal to some personal taste? What?
This should have been issued a month ago when first announced. 😮😢
Great software for the price...Definitely but the premium!
A great new name for the company: " Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it." Goethe. Fun fact, Steve: I attended the Bristol Hills Music Camp near where you grew up.
Fritz is one of my favorites, it is always nice to listen to him, thank you, Steve Chen!🙏
Thank you New Retirement and Mr. Roth! Well done and helpful information!!
If I buy the tool, is it downloaded on my machine and is the data stored on my computer, or is it in your hands?
Big fan of the website 🎉
She is a wise woman and I listen to her
Wow!! I'm saving and investing 65% of my monthly income. I am in a total different mindset after educating myself over the past decade or so. This is possible because I don't have any debt including a paid off mortgage.
❤❤❤
This is good, but what would make this a bit better would be to also allow for that bonus to repeat each year. Even better would be to allow it to model at a % fulfilled. For example, if I am sure I'll get a bonus each year but the amount of that bonus might fluxuate between $1800 and $2200.
Does a Solo 401k allow for the Rule of 55? Thanks, in advance, for your guidance.
Besides the curves/graphs, can NR show you in a tabulated form how much to withdraw out of each account (taxable, tax-deferred and tax-free) each year in order to meet your cash flow needs in a tax-efficient manner ?
Money equals freedom Freedom equals 😊❤
Where are the other lessons?
looks like this is the only free lesson. In Planner under Classroom, I see this video and two others. There are two other Live events shown for November 16th and 17th. Oh well. Maybe I'll try the trial version of Planner and have access to the other videos before deciding on a paid membership. Happy planning!!!
Very easy to follow Dana. I am three and half months away from retirement and I will contact you. Glad I found you. Ismail
Love love love Paula Pant. She is very smart, intelligent and humble.
Super interview. Breaking this content into chapters would be great.
We are doing a similar plan as we enter retirement. We have one rental house we just turned into an AirBNB and looking for another rental to pay in full that will be a short or long term rental. Feel more comfortable doing this versus putting a bunch of money in the stock market. Nice to be able to touch and feel investments!
Great interview! Just picked up the book. Sam has always been one of my favorite fire provocateurs. Pushing buttons by challenging conventions and making everyone a bit smarter in the process.
34:00 "the idea that the fed buying treasury bonds is going to spark some degree of hyperinflation now is hard to image"...the thing to learn from a surprise is that life is surprising
