The Most Photographed Tree in the World
Originally I was going to do a Wanaka & Queenstown Travel video but instead after watching a video on should you take photos at tourist spots I decided that this would be a more interesting video. It has been an idea I’ve been thinking about for the past year. Can you take to many photos of a location or can you beat your last photo at a location etc.
Decided not to include music with this one.

So at my partners request I separated out this part of my street photography in Guangzhou video and than decided to make it in colour. Camera is Canon F1 Film Stocks are Lucky Color 200 & SHD 100 Filmed on Iphone 15pro max and edited in Lightroom and Final Cut Pro

Really glad we got to experience Kyoto. It's been on my bucket list for over a decade and so glad I got to take so many photos of this wonderful place. 8:08 cool to see the unique difference between the usual b&w vs Infrared
11:40 the 400D shot is stunning, the F1 version has a heavy blue tint, personal choice or just what the Epson does with scans? I have just got done repairing an F1 and can't wait to finally shoot with it! Amazing camera.

I like my F1 a lot. Ordered it from Japan and it came wrapped in Japanese newspapers. Even the unboxing was fun. This camera really brought back my passion for photography for me. All the social media and Instagram messed it up in the first place.
It's my favourite 35mm film camera too. My original F1 also came in Japanese news papers too.

Wow some of those night shots were were really jaw dropping! I wonder what some of those “squiggly” lines are on some of the negatives? x-ray exposure?
Are you able to give me a time stamp? I might be able to explain. There was a few issues with some of the film and the cameras.
They’re prevalent in a few of the nighttime exposures but 7:11 is the most blatant - it’s almost a subject in a way.
@@tanner_spring Oh um nah I don't think so. Pretty sure its static discharge. It was some Kodak cinema film repacked as C-41 and I bought it in China and shot it in China and didn't go through any Xrays. The humidity was super high and the pollution was really bad when I was there so I think it made it way worse as I've never had it that bad before. The other 3 issues I had was light leaks on the black and white photos on my Canon 7 along with a hair either inside or on the lens & my new Fuji 645. I didn't know how to roll it tightly it needs a bit more finesse than my other medium format cameras.

static discharge! that’s very cool, the way it presented itself made it look like splashes of exposed light, and from the first time seeing it - very interesting.

What camera did you use?
Mamiya c220 which broke on this trip. My main 35mm was a Canon F1 and I think some shots were on the Minolta Riva and the the very last photo at the end was taken on the Fujica 645 wide which I bought in Osaka. Oh and some photos were taken on the Pentax 110.

Curiously, it looks like you have a late model F-1 with early model film back (missing film speed holder).
Yeah my first F1 was the first model and it broke. This F1 in the video is the later model (Not to be confused with the New F1) but it had a polaroid back so I ended swapping the backs when my first died.

It is made for 12 shots film. So bulk and charge only12 shots in canister.
How is it made for 12 shots. The camera clearly has markings for 12, 24 and 36 exposures on its counter?

I completely agree with your statement on the prism finder on the Mamiya 645, it just feels very clunky. But I invested in a waist level finder and now its one of my favorites especially its quite portable as well.
I am going to buy a waist level finder for the Mamiya 645 but I am poor as. I just bought a number of cameras recently whilst traveling Asia. Gonna make a sequal video to this as I got some really cool ones. Did you also hate the syncing issue between the prism finder and the body when it came to shutter speeds?
