My first standard triathlon… the road to 70.3
Not quite how I planned it but still happy with how everything went!
3 weeks until my last race of the season - should be a good one 😁

Accessible Glamping Pod in Wales!
Переглядів 137Рік тому
Back in March I went to stay at the most stunning, fully accessible shepherds hut turned glamping pod. Just outside of Machynlleth, Wales. Hafan y Mynydd is the brainchild of Pippa and Dafydd and they've done such a fantastic job with everything, not only is the hut fully accessible to wheelchair users, it also has two wonderful sensory pods for those needing a quiet space. The pods are based o...
Disneyland Paris in a wheelchair! Hotel Cheyenne Accessible room tour
Переглядів 1,1 тис.Рік тому
For our final Disney day I give you a tour of an interconnected adapted room at Hotel Cheyenne. I really liked the theming of this room, as always there we some access features that could be changed slightly to give a better experience. My main take aways were that the bathroom sink was too deep, the exterior door was quite heavy and you had to go along the whole corridor to exit the building r...
Walt Disney Studios

On day two of our Disneyland Paris trip we spent the day in Walt Disney Studios, I think this has to be my favourite park! With the addition of the Avengers Campus this park has everything you could want and more. There are a good number of wheelchair accessible rides in this park too, many have hidden sliding boards but there are also a lot that you can stay in your chair for which is great fo...

Welcome to a new, and actually my first ever, vlog series! This is a three part series where I take you with me on my most recent trip to Disneyland Paris. This was my first time back to Disney in around twelve years, and my first time as a wheelchair user. In this video I'll be taking you through the travel from London St Pancras to Disneyland via the Eurostar, and then taking you round the pa...
How and why I drive with my hands?! Vlogmas Day 1
Переглядів 1394 роки тому
Welcome to my vlogmas 2020!! Obviously there's not a huge amount to traditionally vlog about this year, thanks covid! So instead I'm going to be doing 12 days of different videos under the name of vlogmas, there'll be some christmas covers and a Q&A and some surprises too!I've had a few questions about how I drive and I know a lot of people are shocked as they don't even know that hand controls...
Your vlog really brings home the problems that disabled travelers can face everyday.
Thanks for the vlog Ella. I am heading to DP next week with my adult daughter who is a wheelchair user . Your vlog has been a great help.
@@tommorrissey Ah no worries! Hope you have a great time. The assistance in and around the parks is great 😁
Smashed it 💪 Logistics of triathlon are hard enough and then you throw in 2 chairs 🙈 Respect. Im a cathter user and always find it annoying that i have to ask for disabled toilets to be opened as there always locked.
@@SwimBikeRunStu Thank you!! Haha yeah it’s a proper operation on race day 🤣 So frustrating isn’t it! Not sure why they can’t just put radar keys in everywhere, and the amount of times I have to explain that portaloos don’t really work for us… the event organisers were fab and got the lift unlocked and have taken on pointers for next time so fingers crossed!
Subscribed. Looking forward to following your journey towards the 70.3 💪
@@SwimBikeRunStu Ah thank you!! Feeling much better about it after getting through the standard at the weekend haha!
Me sat watching this like im at the movies!! I'm glad to see there are good people in the world that offer to help without being asked!! Good luck for race day!!
@@Runderestimated Bahahaha thank you!! Honestly everyone was so lovely, as you know I’m not usually one to ask for help but I’m so glad I did. Thank you! Currently got storms and rain so hoping we don’t have a duathlon/cancelled race 🙈
Fab.
Question- do you recommend bringing a smartdrive with you if you can’t wheel yourself for a while? The disability pass… what kind of documentation you need from your doctor? Do most cast members speak English?
Its frustrating all the life ❤
How did you book the train disabled assistants or did you just ask when you got there
For the Eurostar once you’ve Booked your tickets there’s a link to request assistance with your booking confirmation number or you can ring them. You can ask on the day but it’s better to book in advance. They’re also supposed to take care of the TGV at the other end but I’d recommend leaving enough time and going and asking on the day as they had no idea we were there on the way back!
That is super cool! ☺️
Thank you💜
That is so awesome that you have a car that is accessible! ☺️ It also weirds me out that you drive on the left side of the road 😂
It’s soo cool!! I’m the same when I watch anyone else’s videos, I’ll have to drive on the right when I drive to Europe which will be sooo weird 😂
Ok I love the intro damn
thank youuu I was soo worried about whether it was ok or weird you know 😂
This is really interesting! Can’t wait for the rest of your vlogmas x
Thank you!!
