The best method is elimination for this particular set of equations, because a lot of misconceptions could arise from the substitution method

Where did you get that 15 this is complicated 😕
Look at the numbers that have y or x next to them and also don't forget the signs you were given e.g there was 10y-24+5y=6. You see only 10 and 5 have the letters next to them (10+5=15) then we substitute -24 to other side with 6 that is already on right side, remember when you substitute the signs change so -24 when it comes on right side it will be +24 (+24+6=30)
