First Two Priest (Father) ordination from Wancho Community. Day 4 2nd Mega LDCYA Convention.
It is immensely joyful for our Wancho Community as the first two Priests (Father) were Ordained at Longding General Ground on the 7th Jan. 2024.
Fr. Jaliem William Wangsu, village Chopnu.
Fr. Samjon Simon Pansa, Village Nissa.
To become a priest, it takes around 12- 13 years.
Let us pour our blessing and prayer toward their mission of serving God.
Special gratitude to the Bishop of Miao Diocese George Palliparambil & Auxiliary Bishop Denis and President Mr. Khosom Khangham & Secretary Adv. Honlem Khangham of Longding District Catholic Youth Association & team for their relentless effort toward making this program a grant successful.

I am fr.norbert nongrum ihave toured some of the Wancho vilages in 2000. I am happy to know that priests are coming from the Wancho tribe. I pray for you
Three more priests will be ordained this year in December, kindly remember them in prayer 🛐 if possible do try to attain the ordination.
