This is where apparently everyone is fooled. Cersei cares about herself. No one else. She uses her kids as excuses for her own selfish behaviors and actions. Their deaths are because of her & those behaviors & actions. She was given 3 lessons, and didn’t learn any of those times.

Such a good character! Especially in the books. She’s not perfect and that’s exactly what I like about a lot of George’s characters

Cersei didnt deserve all the hate she gets from the fandom. She isn't actually evil or curel for the sake of cruelty. She had a difficult life, being bullied by her father, unloved and disrespected by her huaband, and constantly threatened by invaders and usurpers. She did everything she could to protect her children and herself and I admire her for that. She knew how to keep her power, and she wasnt afraid to destroy anyone who tried to take it. Plus most of her "evil" acts are revenge for herself or her children. Many people on the show go around inflicting terror and cruelty for no good reason and they're not despised. Plus none of the characters were beacons of morality. Why is Cersei despised for incest but Jaime isn't? All the men went around doing all kids of immoral acts and that was ok, but Cersei should be hanged for her sins. Why?? I think Cersei was too powerful and too perfect looking that people just couldn't bear it.

This was a Absolutely Amazing Masterpiece for Joffrey Baratheon. Even Though I absolutely Hated this character Jack Gleason did a Phenomenal Performance. I also found Joffrey’s death very Sad and Heartbreaking

Something was wrong with Joffery but nobody tried to understand him

Cersei would burn cities to the ground for her children, yet she's the reason all three of them are dead. Joffrey: Joffrey was a monster. Cersei did very little to curb his worst impulses and, eventually, he was poisoned to end his reign of cruelty. Myrcella: Had Cersei not accused and imprisoned Tyrion for the assassination of King Joffrey, Oberon wouldn't have died in the trial by combat against the Mountain. Ellaria Sand wouldn't have blamed the Lannisters for his death and killed Myrcella in retribution. Tommen: To reclaim her lost power from the High Sparrow and Queen Margaery, Cersei decides to blow up the Sept of Baelor with the Tyrell family (with the sole exception of Oleana Tyrell) and the Sparrows inside on the day of her trial. Tommen plans to go as well but is stopped by the Mountain under Cersei's orders. Heartbroken by the loss of Margaery, Tommen jumps out the window to his death.
