My name is Olivier Ruelle in French, Lu Ming in Chinese, Lu meaning 'street' and Ming 'bright'. My first stay in China was in 1991, I then settled there in 1997. I started to create videos for Chinese audiences in 2021, and I've been posting some of them on UA-cam in 2023. By the end of May 2023, I had around 800K followers in China. I hope my videos can contribute to a better understanding of some aspects of contemporary China.

Which is Shanghai's best university, Fudan or Jiaotong? I went to both universities and asked students I met around both campus what they thought about that topic. Not all of them gave me the answer I expected, but they know for sure that they are among the best in China.

It can be hard to learn if you have nobody to talk to. On the one hand, I would advise to watch videos and films if possible. On the other hand, you can try to find people on line who would be ready to exchange with you. It's not as good as face-to-face, but it helps. Good luck!

Actually I m trying to do all of them, nonstop watching videos and films, maybe that's why a lot of people don't believe i really have been learning it for one and a half year...finding online people...i also tried but all of them had behind thoughts and not pure language exchange 😩 so I slowly begin to give up this and think I can just achieve my goal by paying a teacher...i hoped i could find a friend...yesterday when I went to run,some really old aunties were sitting around and chatting near my house, i heard they were Chinese, i swear i thought to stop and go to them and ask them if I could join 😂 just afraid of their accent, don't know where they are from, afraid if I can understand them and afraid they are not so patient to me or educated enough to explain things for me in another way if I can't understand them... 典型的知识份子作派 清风徐来水波不兴
我是兼职快递员（两个月了），我用一个多月跑完了杭州的每一个街道片区。包括看过老路过往的视频，发现其实老路对杭州的探索发现其实很少，大多数可能来自亲人引导的刻板映像。比如在西湖那对着山说传统，对着老城说现代。你看杭州上城老城区跟那些小城市也没啥太大的区别，至少不会比金华更好。但是有一说一，老城区的住家人生活情调、腔调还是有的，但是质量并不是很高。杭州发达的地区、真正有钱的三角都在钱塘江边，一是河西的市民中心（金蛋）那一片；二是滨江对望市民中心，即阿里巴巴总部（很多栋摩天大厦）、吉利、海康（很多栋摩天大厦）、新华三这一代；第三是萧山体育和会展博览中心，这个地方也是对望河西市民中心，但是一开盘就是绝对有钱人居住的地带，只有经常出入那些社区才能发现他们是多有钱、多低调、生活的环境有多科幻。
