Idaho i do most my fishing around payette CO

no i actually went on the snake river yesterday and we caught a few even with the water all muddied up from the rain. there are to many people that go to swan falls and for me there are alot of better places i can go without worrying about snagging on all the rocks but there are some big fish up there. i would suspend drift a bait off bottom on a float if i was going to fish swan falls.

Yes i have and they have some really good catfishing out there. I have a loop that is a few miles that i use3 my kayak on. the only problem with parma for my kayak is a have to use my motor to get back to the ramp. there is a very small chance i can paddle back up that after a long day of fishing. i use crawdads out there alot. soak the tails in minced garlic the jars you get from the store with the juice in them.

pretty sure this was mid-June. the best times to go up there as long as the water level is right is end of May-June cause their schooling up.

I plan to start back up with the videos come this spring i had some health complications that made it hard to get out on the water by myself but im gearing up for 2023 to be a good fishing year!!

ya its a little tricky with the current but i do it all the time. go up on the right hand side there is a sand bar that follows that side thats good for cats and bass.

i use an anchor trolly and a 5 lb grappling anchor

i have tuesday and wednesday off so whenever your down this way im down to collab. the flathead are biting now. and if you have sucker or crappie thats the best bait. and i run atleast 5 oz weights with a 16-20 inch leader because the weeds are so bad down here. the flat head love those crappie heads.

i have a dry suit that saves my life man i throw heat warmers in my socks and throw on my dry suit and im warm all winter!

I went out yesterday to test that motor on my wives kayak. Game changer! It only took me 6-8 minutes to get back to the ramp and not an hour lol.

I catch catfish year round on the snake river. Flathead are hard to get when the water drops below 65 but channels are always hitting if you find mud flats

@@Hunter__14 i talk and fish with people from all over the snake and honestly its a great river for nice cats as long as you have food and structure. i fished the columbia alot and it was so frustrating trying to find big cats in those waters

i use salted sucker. but you can use worms to catch a sucker or pike minnow and cut that up. anything that is local that there used to eating is a good choice.

i dont carry pricey reels but i dislike those reels with a passion lol. I just got a kastking megatron 6000 im in love with!

@@vinhha6073 hunginton oregon is a killer spot from the oregon side any where you can hit it before it dumps in the columbia

those were suckers and white fish. which is what i salt and freeze for bait for the summer in case i cant catch fresh bait.
