If you look at the second column, there are 3 empty spaces (rows 1, 3, & 5). By process of elimination the star cannot be in the 1st or 3rd rows because of the two stars already on the grid. This means the only place the star can fit in the second column is the 5th row. Thus the question mark cannot be a star. You already described how to get the cross so the only remaining is triangle. It is difficult for us to say as usually these tests are used to compare against your colleagues and the pass mark is relative to that. It is good you have 100% accuracy, however, in general both speed and accuracy are important. Let us know how you did once you get confirmation. The best way to improve the speed is by practice. Yes if the wrong answer is selected it counts against you, so avoid guessing, but don’t spend too long. The test is marked on both speed and accuracy. Practice as many new questions as possible before the test to ensure you do well: payhip.com/b/Gi4WF

In a way I agree, but I guess one can say that in your solution there's actually two different/parallell rules and there's only supposed to be one rule.

It's a good observation, but you can't combine 2 different rules to get a solution

Yes, there are at least three alternatives. And by the way, the simplest solution of all is that the 8th is the only one with "roof" towards right, hence it is out. This Q11 is poorly designed. While other comments disagree with you, this solution is the simplest for a sequence rule. The "rotation" solution demands knowledge of previous entry - the rule that none must have roof towards "right" is memoryless and hence simplest.
