thanks! he’s so random- very hard to make the fight go the way you want it to. i was hoping for an epic divine beast one shot at the end but it was an awkward slow 3 hits while i walked around like an idiot lol

it’s fun as hell with a pretty minor learning curve. i couldn’t get it to work at first until i realized you need combination blow x3 to kill champions with the 1-2 punch shotgun. once it’s up you just dodge, shoot, punch, punch

Good for doing solo but not in fire team

@@blockhead403 I agree - it's completely dependent on keeping the combination blow timer up which you can't do if the fireteam is clearing adds.

such a fun play style. you just have to get combination blow up to x3 by punching adds, dodge to get lethal current and then you can 1-2 punch shotgun champions. i’m just starting to get the hang of it. esoterickk put down a 9 min run of the whole GM with it yesterday. crazy!

that’s a kannagi in the skill tree. kannagi is a tonfa skill that allows you to cancel an active skill into demon dance that dodges attacks. you press R1 in the middle of an attack to demon dance safely out. if you do it proactively, you can use demon dance to dodge anything. quickest way is to cancel wild lions. so block, press square, then immediately R1

You just need the right traits. Narrow maw 3, Rapid Spitter 3, Backsplash or Critical Stagger 3 is like an automatic cannon

thanks! Tonfa/Hatchets are awesome. both are dual wielded, one is blunt the other sharp. so fun. i haven’t played nioh in a while but maybe i’ll do some more of these tonfa/hatchet style vids

thanks! you have to wear lone wolf armor for chest and waist. light armor every where else, and temper toughness onto each piece. this should put you to 200 toughness which is where A toughness starts. For AA agility you need to run Ultimate stamina. I also run ultimate strength which effects equipment weight as well - so 150 both in strength and stamina and those armor specs will get you to AA/A

haha... Tonfa + kyryoki keeps humans in a constant state of stun. I think this was around the time I learned about the Yokai shift grapple too with maeda clan. Huge damage at the end there.

In all honesty, Returnal killed it for me cause now I expect all games to be as responsive and fast as this one but there's not too many out there. Returnal is a badass game and a great experience all throughout. I can't believe I beat it like 4 times already.

thanks man! i feel like this challenge the hardest thing was keeping the bosses health and ki up to make it to the end. he died or fell to grapple before the ending so many times. just gotta keep recording and pray for a solid run!

great man- he is super aggressive. if you can learn to do a simple backdash to dodge his jump , and use umbral bullet when he’s on the wall you’re half way there.

@@Nimadj both bosses again. if i would have fought and killed tate as well the floor would be gone the next day. i like to focus one at a time. i practiced on tsuchigumo here for a week or so to get the fight this tight.

thank you! that one was hard- i can’t tell you how many times i stepped in the fire trails. trying to spread some love for hatchets. they can be aggressive and do big damage once you get the flow of them.
