Ok so the SD7's were built for this one branch on the PRR with a 5 ish percent grade, hence the weird dynamic brakes. I vaguely remember this from the kalmbach diesel spotters guide or another old book.

The complex was built in 42 as a munitions depot. Was closed in 69. Use to be the Space Center. Companies will move into the buildings and rent warehouse to operate. Later on it went to The Ohio Commerce Center and was being sold for I think they wanted 7 million for the whole complex and ended up selling it to 2 brothers from Howland Township for around 3 million. They still rent out space to businesses to operate as well as buying the locomotives from all over America, ship them there and repair them, and resell them. I work in one of the buildings and seen lot's of things change over the 30 years. Thanks for Sharing.
