We are a model railroad club in Vienna, Virginia, with a 75 year history. Our club layout represents the Western North Carolina Railroad between Salisbury and Asheville North Carolina as it was in the mid to late 1950s. We have regular open houses throughout the year, which we certainly hope you will consider visiting if you're in the area!

The Ghost Train of Bostian Bridge - A Tale from the Western North Carolina Railroad
The Western North Carolina Railroad, like many mountain railroads, has seen its share of train accidents over the decades. One particular accident that happened not far from Statesville, North Carolina, in 1891 has been the source of many reports of strange events near the accident site. Allow us to take you through the events which have unfolded on this North Carolina railroad by way of our HO scale model of this same line.
