FINALLY this absolute behemoth of a project is done! Its a little rough round the edges but pretty good for a first animatic ever! it turned out p good ! especially with the. ah. less than ideal hardware i had (my poor ipad crashed like 6 times in the making of this animatic its nearing its time i fear)
this also took me like. a month or so. good grief im made for illustrations not animatics haha
...also i found out halfway through the animatic that csp has an animation feature ... ah well. more info for next time
Get in the Water was one of the songs i was the most excited for and for good reason!! Poseidon has such an intimidating presence and Steven Rodriguez did a wonderful job with the vocals!
I'm likely not going to make many more animatics after this what with the trials and tribulations this one went through but I do hope the people enjoy this meager offering :p

thank you! it was actually a last minute decision haha I was just thinking that, yk since 600 strike starts w the windbag...might as well show him grabbing onto it, yk? and then i thought itd be fun to have eurylochus sort of "make up"for the whole opening the wind bag thing

Another watery Poseidon! It's so good! The fluid dynamics of the water in this animation are very smooth, and the presentation of only one glowing eye as Polyphemus joins in song is a chef's kiss of a detail. This is also the first animatic I've seen that includes him gripping the windbag before he drowns. Makes "600 Strike " a little easier to explain if he's already got the bag on his person. I'll be adding this one to my EPIC animatic Mega Compilation 🔱 playlist with hundreds of other full-length animatics made by this fandom. Thank you for your contribution, Snady! 😊

Rarely do i actually say this, but this animatic is where poseidon is far more of a force of nature than a man. I love this!
This is actually such a huge compliment to me??? Tysm!!! I put much focus into making Poseidon feel more intimidating and untouchable to fit how Get in the Water feels to me
