You gotta go INCREDIBLY early to avoid the long lines. I was there at 8 am waiting outside. Had short lines for almost everything I wanted to do. Seriously, if I didn't have the opportunity to get there before 8:30 am, I wouldn't have gone at all.

That's why I don't go. Should have learned lesson from.post parade celebration. What was that???

The best museum in Rome is the Museo Nazionale Romano. NO CROWD!

In 1963-1964, my brother and I both went to Long Beach State. That first year we shared an apartment and then he went to live in the dorms. He had a roommate that I use to call The Strange Little Kid. The roommate, Steven, always looked like he was in another world when you talked with him - as though he was half listening to you and half doing something else much more fascinating. Years later, I ran into Steven backstage at the Academy Awards. By. then he had grown several inches, he looked me in the eyes and smiled at me when I introduced myself and told him that I was Peter's sister. I guess whatever had been running in his head when I knew him years before at LBState had been turned into film by then. Yup: Steven Spielberg. Who knew?
