It's used for portable electrical appliances or electronics which are of low load like Blender, electric kettle etc. their rating is the same as of normal socket outlet 13A and is controlled by the small gang on the unit switch. The bigger gang on the cooker socket/unit switch is for controlling cooker connector which is connected with electric cooker oven and rated 45A

MCU (Measurement control Unit is the Part of the energy meter which is installed in the utility Meter box/board, it has Input and output which are Supply and Load. The supply comes from the utility service cable through fuse cutout and MCB double pole. The load is the output of the meter which are two wires (hot and Neutral) they are drawn towards the house Consumer unit to power/light the household.
