There's a problem with only being at one direction...the zombies can and will destroy your other entrances. In that case...I use double gates for every entrance because of 1; loot, and 2; easy repairs. It pays off to get the robot suit and maxing your movement speed out.

Pro tip for anyone who is still playing. Get the brazier first, do not waste wood on campfires. Also gett the katana. Decent range and attack rate without being that weak, since it takes 3-5 slices each zombie for the first two days. IIRC the "mutants" (poison frog zombie, dwarven runners, chargers, and the tanks) appear around about day 5 or 7...or maybe on day 10. Upgrade your movement speed to max before anything else, since it helps with gathering stuff.

I just recommend using reactive armor since they give lots of armor but don't put lots of them. Oh and tacyon beam + vampiric ray combo is good. Reactive armor isint that heavy unlike the titanium one

Or you know you could just use the Thor combined with at least one or two large drone enhancers (I forgot what they’re called) with +100 range and then a bunch of other drone upgrades I was able to literally sit at the spawn point for the daily mission and murder the worm ship by doing literally nothing because of the drones immense range they can fly all the way over to the warm ship without you needing to guide them towards it
