Jesus was crucified on Calvary and buried in the garden tomb. The passover happens in April. That is when the last supper and the establishment of the taking of the sacraments took place. Our Lord ascended back to Glory 40 days after His resurrection. I believe it's possible that this is also the day on which He was born in that stable. I am not claiming that to be definitely so. I'm saying it's possible!

Jesus died not to give us the riches of this world but to give us the riches of Glory!!!

Thank you so much dear brother for this wonderful teaching on Purim. I grew up celebrating this festival. It is a joyous time. I must say, sadly, that - in my experience at least - gifts of charity are to our own people only. But it was a lot of fun celebrating Purim. I am very grateful for your comments on anti-Semitism. It is getting worse and worse at present, particularly on the left of politics (BDS movement - anti-Israel). It is such a scourge. And the Holocaust was unspeakable. Christians do need to stand up for the Jewish people and to pray for them. I thank God so much for saving me through the death of Jesus on the cross (and resurrection), my Messiah. I thank him for saving so many of my fellow Jews. My prayer is that many more Jewish people will come to know God's love shown them in the Messiah - the greatest salvation and celebration of all.

When I was baptised in water I was asked if I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and if I believe that He died on the Cross for my sins and that He rose again to open the way of eternal salvation. If you cannot answer these questions with a resounding yes you are not a true believer. You should not be baptised!!!
