I have a question, if anyone knows the answer. What instrument do they refer as strings, because the sound of it is so dope!
Are you referring to the strings in the very beginning? This note you hear was generated by a synthesiser to imitate a section of violins playing the same note. (Also, please note that I notated the C one octave lower than it sounded to keep the layout neat.)

Those first 23 notes come directly from the first couple of bars of Jacques Ibert’s flute concerto. When I first heard this I thought it was a really cool and interesting way to start this piece.
