During the mid week of 13 till 18 september 2024, outside the Centre of Son en Breugel in the Netherlands, a big WW2 camp was set up in connection with the 80th commemoration of the Liberation of the South of the Netherlands.
An educational program was planned on monday, tuesday and wednesday, so that several schools, elderly and disabled visitors received an explanation about some of the US and German displays and vehicles.
On Tuesday evening a large convoy of Allied vehicles left the camp and went on their way to the liberation celebration and wreath laying ceremony at 'The Parachutist' on the 'Europalaan'.
