I'm struggling with this a lot lately. Society is so messed up. People cannot afford to support themselves. How are we supposed to afford to have children? We can't even fish or farm for free anymore. All the land is owned and costs too much money. And the government makes you pay money for a fishing license. And they say "oh well we make you pay that fee so we can restock the ponds and lakes." Well then why do we have to pay the fee to fish from the ocean??? The government cannot just own all the fish in the ocean. And simultaneously tell us that it's illegal to collect rain water. And if you do own a home, guess what? You need a permit for this, a permit for that. And if you stop paying property taxes before they say you're allowed to, they take your house and land, they evict people from their own homes. We are not simply allowed to live off the land anymore. If we build a well on our land and start farming to survive....how are we paying the property tax? The government is forcing us to work for a paycheck.
