@@tweedledee5850 snug the bolt , give it 1/4 turn pass the snug point and u should be good to go. Don’t know exactly what the torque spec is , on bolt this size not more then 30 foot pounds

@@joshv7109 that is correct you will need to replace everything I replaced. ABC suspension cars don’t have sway bars, that’s why Arnott is not advertising this kit for ABC suspension… I must say it was totally worth duing this , it’s been several years since this conversation, it’s so nice that you can park your car and not find it sitting on the ground after 2 days. Arnott also makes a more sporty kit with bilstein shocks for w220 . The kit I installed puts the suspension in comfort

Yeah… I just need to not look at the car for couple days and regroup…trouble is I used this to fix couple spots on the rear bumper and side skirt. So that has to be removed and redone…anyway thank you for the support

You have to check for vacuum leaks before replacing anything. Smoke test first. Common vacuum leak is seal ring at brake booster hose . Or it’s maybe a cap on e55 because e55 has different brake system.

@@endri15255 that will not work…why did you go for bigger throttle body?! The restriction on these engines is in the manifolds. You should put headers before anything else. Throttle body is probably good for up to 650 horse.

Hey! Well the thing is I don’t have much free time and it will take forever to film the process…. So ideally you will have a press to press the cup flange out , if not then u can use a crankshaft pulley puller, just find 2 long bolts that u can bolt to the cup. Punch mark the splines with the cup before anything…I still have the old support bearings, will make a video later today or tomorrow

Hey ! Sway bars are not needed with the hydraulic suspension system. They are absolute must if u install conventional suspension , especially on heavy and powerful car

Yes it fits… that is not a part listed that fits this car. Double idler is sold as un assembly from mercedes Benz . It’s not ment to be serviced

You are welcome…just don’t by used throttle body, I did that at some point and got misled, also know that idle in park on these cars is not as even , idle is steady wen u engage gear and hold the brake… good luck

@@SethMaetric …forgot you also need the receiver box… u can use anything there. If you are racing , make the saddle pack car , if you are in to more having fun then make the 6s car. Both cars are competitive and fast in a different manner,saddle packs is easyer to drive, 6s car is more fun to slide around the corners

@@brett31979 it makes your ears ring for half un hour after u drive the car I bet. I sill have the pipes that go over the rear axle with a t pipe welded on them. Regular metal pipe is better than stainless for the muffler end of the system… it’s a lot to say about it. Let me know if u are going to build something, we can talk so I can explain what was the most effective way to build this

@@valentinhristov264 my daily 99 is a stock engine with headers. It does not bother me at all, though the car is sound deadened and insulated. Both are, actually. But the 03 Z06 is going to be a blown 402 with moderate cam, headers et al. At 43 I no longer enjoy noise for the sake of noise and want to better muffle the Z06. I probably won't get into changing the exhaust around much until the project is finished over the winter and I know what dimensions I have and where since it also has a 6060 and C6Z diff which will require some pipe cutting. I appreciate your offer and may take you up on it when ready.

There is no idle air valve , idle air valves were used on older vehicles. Bypassing the cable operated throttle body. This is computer controlled throttle body. Takes signal from gas pedal potentiometer and applys voltage to throttle body motor. Throttle body potentiometer tells the computer throttle body position and air flow. It throws lean fault because it opens the throttle body more then what it tells the computer and allows more air .computer then adds fuel to correct condition. The signal from throttle body is incorrect

Hey glad to hear from you! I have been busy past probably 4 months now getting this car going back from the dead. Cl55 is fine , it needs new a/c compressor but otherwise it’s been great and you are right it’s hard to replace it,wen I have a crappy day and sit in that car after work to get home feels like all the problems are gone , it’s simply one of the nicest cars ever. As far as getting W222… I got to tell u I work on Mercedes every day and anything newer then 2006 got problems that it’s gonna make u Hate these cars. No access to ECU options coding, trans problems, Engine timing chain problems, turbos failing…beautiful car but even I can fix them I don’t want to own one. Vr4 is gonna be my new daily driver and it’s 4 wheel drive so I can drive it winter time. How are you been ?! Hope all is well

Hey Valentin, remember how your using the ABC reservoir for the split cooling, I was thinking of rerouting that set up into a tank. Like use that as a un der hood tank. I know it's pretty small but I think it'll help a little. What you think? Cap off the screw on cap so it can still purge and add ice and drill a return line .

@@300zVinh …that’s drag racing stuff , there is plenty of videos where they even route the a/c to cool the intake charge…it is absolutely unnecessary on a street driven car. In drag racing you want the car to be consistent because most of the time is bracket race so you are chasing the time u submitted. So after couple run car gets hot and slows down a bit, there for you put fans to blow on the engine and ice in the intercooler tank to bring the temp down. These cars have protection if intake temp is too hot it will turn off the supercharger. I went 2 wice drag racing with my CL it never had un issue, that’s at 90f ambient temp. The abc reservoir has a good capacity. So it goes like this the bigger coolant capacity the faster recovery time, longer pulls…

Sounds like u have misfire on the whole left bank of the engine. I would check the air injection valve first. These valves don’t fail often but … just remove the hose from the valve and see if it’s black in there and start the car. If exhaust is coming through the valve then it’s messing up the fuel mixture on that bank because it’s adding air to the exhaust gasses…

Не съм в щатите,но благодаря все пак за помощта. Искам още нещо да питам за SBC спирачките дава ми грешка reservoir pressure p2131 на живи данни показва 117 бара налягане а границите са от 69-110 бара. Какво ще ме посъветвате да сменя сферата или е някъде проблема?

@@valentinhristov264 Hi Hrisov! The rear wing was changed from 2 to 4 because the rear slides when the accelerator on in Ascari and Parabolica ,the time was 1.47.5 at the cold track temp.

Hi ! Well unfortunately that fault can be caused by so many things and sometimes is more than one thing that’s causing it. To answer your question yes fuel pressure is one of the suspects wen u get that fault. Basically u have to hook up fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and drive wile watching the pressure if it drops too much on high demand. Fuel filters are also one thing that gets over looked on these cars and the du clog and restrict fuel. Take care and good luck. Hello! It will take a wile for a video but I can tell u there is 4 of them , one on the front valve block in front of the left front wheel, one on the rear valve block in front of the rear left wheel, one on the back of the front left wheel behind the fender well and one under the car by the right front tire. Just remove the plastic covers and the driver front wheel well . U have to remove the valve blocks .good luck

Hi ! Well the first thing u have to du is to smoke the engine for vacuum leaks. Remove the air boxes and use un adapter to smoke it through the throttle body. Make sure it builds some pressure… common vacuum leak is the brake booster pipe, it has couple of o rings on the quick connectors that bake over time . Air injection valve are usually different issue, but u can check if the are working properly by removing the hoses that go to super charger, it has to be clean inside, if u see carbon build up then the don’t close well . That will be exhaust leak before O2 so it will mess up the reading on the o2…or remove the vacuum hose and apply vacuum to check operation … good luck …on e 55 u have sbc so u will have a plug we’re the booster pipe will usually go , that is where one of the o ring lives
