@@swordsmenjay It is one of, if not the best damaging individual attacks in Palworld. I don't think there is any non-boss that survives it from a max level shadowbeak with decent attack.

Yeah, the oil rig is a great step up for the late game of Palworld. I'm hopeful Pocketpair will make structures like this for the other NPC factions as well.

@@Ssol-leks It's a soft-swap carry weight setup. This build has 18 carry weight for weapons with the typical talisman array, and the hand ballista allows me to have a straight sword or stormcaller messmer soldier axe on soft swap in case I get jumped as a result of taking shots when the host/phantom crew are too close. Also the new one requires lock on to have the homing shots, which are really strong, but sometimes it's easier just to manually shoot if the target is on the end of lock on range. So really the choice came down to personal preferences, build and comfort, not necessarily damage or tracking.

@@Ssol-leks if I was using the jar cannon or Rabbath's cannon with a straight sword on soft swap I would be at the heavy carrying capacity and would be rolling slowly. Sorry that was unclear. I also only have 31 2 handed strength so jar cannon would have reduced damage as well. Thanks for asking.

@@aaronreed8791 yeah, it is good to acknowledge this. It's unfortunate since this is a very cool weapon. Hopefully it gets fixed like the perfume bugs, but thankfully this appears to be a pretty tame bug, in my opinion, compared to other issues present in the game.

@@Bricriu-gj9dd Though this may be a little general, try and be patient, use terrain when you can and learn where you can win trades with Midra's sword ash of war. This build has a lot of variety, and you can leverage the different weapon type advantages (madness fists against lightly armored casters, the greatsword to break poise on more armored foes and the grab to trade with colossal swords) as well as the spells to fight at a variety of ranges too. I hope that helps! It's difficult to give specific advice without knowing all the fashion, etc. Because I know I am playing a lightly armored version of this. Also if you can watch playbacks of your invasions and pick one thing to have done better, that is another good way to improve and learn more about the build you are using.

@@darksoulsbuildsandcosplays975 Thank you! It's always fun fitting so much on the build. And yes, rain of fire needs a buff. I haven't tried the aoe tree heal, but it absolutely has work to do to compete with a 70 faith erdtree heal, (which is basically full on most sacred seals)

@mythrilturtle bro... the "Tree" is more a scrub, the aoe to it is like a warming stone. For 70 faith? Ruins my Melina cosplay.

There are merits to both live and post commentary, and one thing I like about talking over my old footage is that strategy discussion is much easier/cleaner. I really love all the subtle differences that occur depending on when and where players fight, and discussing it and I'm happy you gave this style a chance!

@@darksoulsbuildsandcosplays975 Thank you! Yeah, there have been times I have taken surprisingly little damage from attacks. If a host is in the DLC I think I get their defense buffs from their shadow lands blessings, and since I have been wearing lighter armor the percent increase I get is pretty significant. I'm sure someone will or has crunched the numbers but I'm just rolling with it and having a fun time. (Whoops, forgot first phantom was in the capital and DLC buffs aren't there. Ooooff. Poor guy! Maybe he was in a lower level bracket and was a random summon for coop)

@@discofraud there is a setting under camera options in the system menu that you can disable. I have that set to off, and likely the wall auto recovery as well. Typically I also claw my controller (index finger on roll button thumb on right stick) when I am not locked on. Hopefully this helps!

@@polarisguild My next goals are to clean up the outstanding Fire Emblem challenges. Most obviously FE6 girl power and chaos stones, but I have also gotten very close to beating a Hector Hard Mode randomizer iron man too. I'm going to keep playing Fromsoft pvp along the way and hopefully the channel will grow a little along the way. Gotta satisfy that perfectionist part of me and wrap up all the loose ends.

@@mythrilturtle I know what you mean, I am taking some RPGs off of this channel. And will eventually move them somewhere else. I had some issues with a memory card, so I couldn’t finish my POR runs. And I have the radiant dawn one right now. I haven’t been doing to well with it

Thank you! Though inspired by pacifist runs of other games, this was an original challenge. This type of run may have been done before, I didn't look into it that much I just thought it would be fun to route and try. Generally I like to put a unique twist on whatever challenge runs I do to keep things fun, but there are a lot of talented gamers and speedrunners out there and I do draw inspiration from their content and talent.

That's one of the Cinder modifiers. I am unsure if that particularone is available initially in the current patch since in a previous patch cinder modifiers were unlocked 4 at a time, and I unlocked them then. Which was before an overhaul happened in the between Heaven and Hell update. I believe there is also an option to do something similar in the bonfire paragon system.

@@mythrilturtle your going to get it soon for sure. And yeah I’ve been kind of stuck around 273 for a few months now, as many subs as I’ve gained and lost, I probably would have 300 if I never lost any.
