I love fishing at Llyn Brenig seeing the jets hurtling over head. Now and again you will see propper fighters 😁

Is that an angle of attack gauge towards the end of the video? If so, why is is reading a negative value while the aircraft seem to be in straight and level flight?

I spent a lot of time walking and climbing at all times of the year in Snowdonia, the RAF jets arrive before you know they are coming. I've been on the side of a mountain and watched the jets pass close below me as the pilot makes a tight turn up the narrow valleys, so close I could see the pilots' with their breathing masks on, and clearly see the rivets that hold the planes together. I was never sure if I was buffeted by the wind or the displacement of the air by the jets.

Great video, the distortion of the image caused by UA-cam's anti-shake algorithm is a bit annoying though, makes it looks like the canopy is bending all over the place!
