Steamboat is one of the all-time great resorts in CO. Massive mountain in northern Colorado. A town with all amenities and a friendly community. Rabbit Ears Motel was a big surprise with its close proximity to the ski area. Free ski bus pick up right outside the front door. I’ve done this run before and I mind my mate crapping himself so me and the other mates made him go down it several times haha
As you get to the top, its frightening! Especially when it's icy!
@@patricstibbe yeh I agree when it’s icy at the top and with a bit of wind it’s defo scary and even harder when you go down on a snowboard compared to skis tho I did see a bunch of ski school kids who dropped in without a care in the world.

Not a fan of skiing on roadways, but once you get to the slopes, the skiing looks very good. Great terrain for GS turns.
If you stay left near the bottom it keeps going even further. You end up at the bottom of the Powder Bowl chair. Really long groomed easy intermediate run with fantastic Tahoe views the whole way.

Lookout Mountain is a great side to Northstar easily accessible with a rope-tow. Long and steep is the rule here. Super fun!!
