Missing squeeze
Frizione distrutta ??????
Good ear! First job in the spring.
I have don same job years ago on my 1750..😊
Hey pal. I’d like to build that for you. Guaranteed. Back in three weeks.
Hi Scot, where did you get the 8 wire distributir.. im also doing a ts conversion on ny gulia..
The 8 Wire diz came from Italy. I found it at the Auto d' Epoca fair in Padova. We may build our own using 123 parts. As we like the options it gives.
Is it difficult to build one? I'm looking for one for my ts. Would you be interested in selling such a distributor if youre going to build some..?@@scottwalfaholic8139
I will get enough parts to build two!
@@scottwalfaholic8139 if you are building a second one I would like that buy it. Is there any way we can exchange contact details?
Hi Constantin. I am not fond of posting me email publicly. Maybe through Okanagan-Alfista on FB messenger. The dizzy's will be under development for a couple months. But we can you in the loop, how we make out. Engine build should be started in the next couple weeks.
Those were very good looking cars
And still! ;)
I had one, with a sunroof, in "azzurro", a wonderful blue. Sold it for 2.000 DM in 1986😢 I regret this every day
I would have loved to have saw it.
@scottwalfaholic8139 thank you for your engaged work! Have a successful 2025🍀 For everyone else: The 2 liter engine with the Dell'Orto-carburator has a wonderful character and sound, driving this car will make you instantly an ❤️ alfista ❤️
Is this car for sale?
No, but thanks for asking. We may have some for sale in the near future.
Another beauty Scott! Happy New Year.
This is not related to Spica issues, but take a look at starter @9:02, there were some sparks
Good Eye! We found the starter wire nut loose. Once tightened it seemed to be fine.
Good job Scott!…… but…… I say we all move to the Italian Riviera and we won’t need heaters!😊👍
Oggetti di culto Ma credo che il suo valore sia dato dal numero che c'è sul coperchio dove si distingue Poi per il resto internamente uguali
I know a little bit about Car Auctions.
Lots of good stuff, but unless I missed where it says all the rockers and sheet metal are guaranteed rust-free, that is too much money for a huge project. Already needs a patch panel for the correct tail lights, flying buttress seats, and the 2L motor probably isn't ideal. Speaking of which, mine is a 1969 USA market car with a 2L. You mention a built 1750 donor motor--don't know if it is the correct AR00551 or that I'm all that motivated to do an unnecessary swap, but it would be more desirable to the purists....
Fun to watch! Thanks for sharing!
Lots of good parts! But lots of work too!
Mains .010. Rods .010. Under size
Thanks, my Engine builder gave me schooling on that too! Ha
I have the same year, but it now have a 1750 series 2 engine “fast road”-built. Mine is Bluette. The leaver beside the choke is a kind of early cruise control. Can only be disengage by pulling it back. I find it kind of dangerous to use tho. 😅 Im located in Norway, so i use Classic Alfa, and Alfaholic for spares. Great cars those!
Awesome Bluette is a great color. I was thinking of putting the 2 levers back in. Currently a switch for rear defrost filled that space. However, I have a throttle cable on the column! I need a single lever. Hmmmm. Thanks for checking out my projects!
Sounds and runs great! Cool shifter too!
I like it Nick
Back in the day Shankle produced that mechanical actuator. They really didn’t work that well. Replacement OEM actuators were around $35 at the time so it was kind of stupid to get the Shankle version. I had a 69 1750 GTV Spica car. Other than actuator failure I never had an issue with the Spica system.
I was wondering if it might be that. First time I have come across one. Hope we can make it run. Mostly to check transmission. And learning!:)
The wheels should be Work Meister S1👌. Looks 🔥🔥🔥
Well would you look at that!
Very cool. Thanks for posting. I am a new subscriber!
I went LED on my flashers, made them far brighter. You need to switch to an electronic flasher relay but they are only about $20. I feel like the brighter these little lights are the less chance of getting hit. 🤞
Hmmmm. I might look into those mods. Good lighting is desirable!
Interesting to see this 1750S1 has later 1750 S2 rear lights & remote Booster operation ! The Pedals must be floor mounted ? Amazing to see these variations ! Beautiful example 👌🏻🇮🇹
When are we gonna see those gorgeous 1750 seats?😊
Well they are looking awesome in the 66. I will get on it!
Good job boys! And don’t forget to vote for the trumpeter on Tuesday! lol!
I said it couldn’t be done; luckily Scott proved me wrong.
Wow those boys work fast.
Nice install boys!
you have to use golden lodge spark plugs, or else you run the risk of a hole in the piston, ( these or special plugs for this engines), also these engines or sensitive to the right adjustments of the carbs. ( burnt valves)
Yes. Lodge are a good plug for the 105. Hard to find in Canada. This one is Spica right now. We will change to carbs in the future.
Hallo, in dein schöner GTV kannst du auch Beru oder NGK Zündkerzen einbauen, wenn Gemisch und zündung gut eingestellt sind, gibt es keine Probleme oder Kolbenschäden
Such great cars
Cavalli ? Coppia ?
217 if I remember correctly
Ist schon in Ordnung so ein Wert, danke

Inspection passed!👍
I love women with character and Bialbero hearts. 😊 Thanks.
🎉
I need one of these to pick up cougars!
Beautiful car... To this day, no car comes close. Highly regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever made. And to think how young the designer was.. An absolute stroke of genius, never to be repeated. ❤💪
Nice video and car. Very rare that such an old one survived. Here in western Europe they are all rotten away. Since I am 21 I have such (GTV6 2.5) a car. The first one was also rotten. Then I bought a good one in Lübeck, Germany. It was hit from behind by also a GTV6 on my birthday 👿 during a Alfa Romeo Club tour with 50 Alfa's through the province. I took it apart and saved most parts. I bought an extra one for €400 for parts. And lastly I bought a good one with a/c and I took it apart to restore it. That was 19 years ago..... Now I am converting one of my stables into a workshop for myself and then I can start the restoration. So I have most GTV6 parts triple. I really miss the drive and the sound from the car. A bit spartanic but a big joy to drive. Regards from the Ardennes
The owner will sell, to acquire another Alfa. 😁
I bought a silver 2 Litre italian import off a shady street place in Munich 1983. She was pretty sick, but we managed to get her back onto her wheels. While that we found out she had been 'fitted' with all kinds of models GTV parts. Also an damperless exhaust system. People were sometimes counting down rallyelike at traffic lights. I was 19 years old and I will never forget the wonderful fragrance of the old interior, touch of the wooden wheel, form and breathing of the Bialbero and the brass we played all around the Lago di Garda. Like an italian Barone I felt. 🌻😊
Great add! Love those history moments..
Soggy day at the Italian car show! But there were some fine cars there. Nice job Scott.
It’s a beauty!
You wouldn't happen to have the plans to build a run stand such as that one would you?
Sorry, I don't have plans. We started with an Engine stand. Then cut it and added some Tube and angle iron. I have loaned it out, but maybe soon. I can take details and measurements. Scott
Add my intent to fab an engine stand. That motor sounds very healthy.
😍❤
That’s great Scott! Glad to meet you at the show! It was fun! …… and I went in to my storage box and found my English 10 text book! It’s ALFA not alpha. lol! Long live the 1750!
Alfa fotever!!!!!
It sure was a wet one! But good to catch up Scott.
