A rough explanation is when you cut on the grain of the fabric, you are cutting out the fabric piece aligned to the direction the fabric was woven. For fabrics that have stretch, if you cut on the grain (parallel to the selvage/edge) then the fabric will stretch less than if you cut the fabric crosswise grain (perpendicular to the fabric selvage/edge)which would give the fabric more stretch. Additionally, for the most stretch, cutting along the bias (aka diagonally along the fabric) you get the most stretch. Depending on what you’re making you have to pick the direction you want to lay the pattern in relationship to the grainline so you can increase/decrease the stretch in the finished garment. I’ll make a note to explain this better in upcoming videos and include pictures. Thank you for the comment!

@@FitBabe yessss it’s the truth! And I feel you, you have to find the way the product works best for your hair. For the As I Am Rosemary water is definitely worth the buy. I use it for hydrating my hair daily/leave in. I kinda just make it a habit to spray it on my hair daily so my hair is never dry. It’s also really great for spraying on my braids and then wrapping them down to tame any fly aways. Basically I replace any water I would use on my hair with the rosemary water or the JBCO water from As I Am.

Hey I know I am so late and I am so sorry. I have used the Chi Silk infusion before and I like how that turned out on my hair too, maybe give that a try. Also, when I use the Amika anti-humidity spray I pair it with the Blockade from Amika. They also have blowdry creams that you can try instead of a spray or serum, carols daughter has one that I have seen others try but I haven't tried it personally. I hope you find something that helps!
