Thanks for a really Good video.. i have doing that Job many many times.. It is nice to drive the Grain to the foodcompany.. best regards J.
Does it ever shoot hard when you stop it? When I started working on the farm.. I first thought the farmer had it at a very slow idle. That he was a bit crazy. Especially because he laughed a lot about it.. Especially when it was about to stall, but came back and kept going.. What do you really think of my story And remember I don't want to make you mad in any way... But it would be cool if you thought it was Cool in a way The best farmerday to you
Hey thanks for the answer to me.. I understand you.. Yes time is monye.. But i must say.. It looks great the acrobatic way to stop it on the Kill switch.. I look Really forward to see more of your really natural videoes.. It shows the life on the farm.. At the best way.. And your video is made with Quality. Hope i not gets you angry.. while i have ask for the slow idle video.. Sorry best regards J.
You're good. Stop it with my foot so the kick back doesn't blow up in my face and use the shovel as a shield
WOW You made it so good.. to be the first time in front of the Camera.. I Gratulate you for a good video.. Thanks a lot I really Mis the Tiestall Barn Regards J.
Hey have a good workday... You have really a nice Barn.. I mis to work in a tie barn, it is really a nice Job. Close to the cows at milking and takes care of them and the calves, and any farm animals. Hope you not misunderstand my history.. And will take it seriously.. I do not make fun with you i mean it real... And hope to follow you in long times on your Channal .. You have a really nice tie-stall barn. Can you when you have cut strawbales and will stop it.. Then do it like that. Idle it down slowly from full throttle over about 10 - 20 seconds it takes to set the throttle down, i mean slowly move the throttlehandle and stop to throttle it down so it stays still running and not dies.. but very slow Idle It sounds Pretty Good. And then let it idle for 30 seconds before stopping it.. It sound pretty nice when it says puf puf pufpuf PUFFFF pufpufpuf PUFF puf puf Puff. Our strawcutter on the farm i have worked on.. When we had it idling it ran really lumpy and struggled to keep going.. But it never stalls. Sometimes it would idle for 5 minutes.. it was wery fun. and sounds really really Nice... What do you think? The farmer I worked for. He has sometimes had a huge smile on his face while he found it nice and fun to do.. to make the slow idle while it was idling for a few minutes. It didn't stall... even though it was very, very close. He always let it runs at really slow idle for many minutes.. Sometimes i dit the same. It was if i have to find a bale to the strawcutter, and it toks only 30sec - 2 min to find the bale.. Then i let it idle down.. and find its also was funny to made the slow idle hope really you not Misunderstand me .. Best Farm-work to you and have a nice day... Regards J
I appreciate you watching and interacting for the kind words. I'm not going to make a video on the straw chopper. It runs best at full throttle the whole time. Only way it stays running is at full throttle. By the time I let it idle I could have finished the job. Time is money. Sorry
I was smiling as the video was going remembering doing all the things you did. The only difference was that the bedding chopper came after I had left and my brothers got to use that. I had to shake it all with the fork, lol. Great video!
Thanks
Nice you made a acrobatic stop with your boots.. best regards J.
Hey Again.. I hope you will made a video from your strawcutter at slow idle.. If it dies. set the Throttle a bit up. but as slow as possible It sounds Pretty Nice.. Best Regards J.
How many cows do you milk
110
How many cows do you milk

Yeah I would rather use a fork to shake it apart much easier than a Chopper up
Chopper is better for the straw in the stalls and stays better. Most of the straw we bought doesn't shake well but the longer stuff is better for the gutter to go up the chute better
Liquid Gold is nice to work with.. it is Money and smells good from monye :-)
It looks Nice.. I know that.. Cows and Calf´s Like to wash the workclothes of.. It is nice when they do.. Regards J.
I protect you... and i Feel with you we must use kick Bars Sometimes it is really nessesary to use the kick Bars.. i Hate them and hate to use them.. But sometimes we must use them for not to be killed I wish Really the best for your farm How Many year do you have had the farm? It is your Parents farm or. It looks really great all over.. Hope to Write with you.. I work part time on a Dairy Cowfarm..

the Tingleys Looks great to Protect your Brunts.. i do understand you, you will Protect your Brunts from manure.. I will do the same i tnink.. I hope you will make a video for me about your strawcutter.. Try to run it at idle for a minute or 2 i hope it will stay running.. it sounds Pretty nice.. What do you think? Best regards J.
nice Video.. All looks good Bad the Rope broke on your strawcutter.. I have also used then for years.. I Like the point of view camera set up.. What brands of boots do your wear?? Can your strawcutter also runs at Idle?? best regards J.
Thanks. I put tingleys on over Brunt's. Everyone in my family wears tingleys. I need the snug feel of lace up boots and protect them with manure. I'm on my second pair of Brunts. First pair lasted 2.5 years and way better than the redwings I had before. It does not run good at idle, we need to put a new muffler on it and maybe it would run better at idle.
Cool video! Like the point of view camera set up.
Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate you watching!
Enjoyed the video. Please keep warm.
Thank you! Will do!
Stay warm!
Enjoyed those cow closeups!!!
Yea it happens
Should be nice again by middle of the week.
Reminds me of Home Unfortunately, the family farm is shutting down
@sillydog70 sorry to hear that.
I sure would like a few brown Swiss heifers
None for sale from us at the moment.
Thumbs up's on video. @ 12:50 the 5 that are just weaned, what are the ages and weights ? Thanks ! Stay warm
Thanks. Those five are between 3-4 months. Typically wean at 3 months. Will go longer if we have time or waiting for a group. We don't weigh but gauge more on eating good and getting tall. I'd guess give or take on 300 lbs.
Beautiful cows thanks for showing them
Thanks for watching!
Holstein man here, but always good to see great dairy cows.
Thanks
What kind milk cows breed you have
In the title man
@vikingvalleyfarm 👍
my cousin had a small butchering facility and he would tell me every time i brought him a swiss he was surprised how much meat they would yield.
They can really put on frame and width to carry all that meat
I raised feeder cattle and got my supply of animals from a dairy farm. I took every calf that they wanted to get rid of. We fed them till they were big enough to go to the sale barn...
You know your cattle! Great explanations on classifications, production, genetics/cow families. Great video!
Thanks.
Awesome video! Keep it up!
Thanks!
Do you AM/PM bred 12hr after heat? If so have you tried breeding the hard breeders @ 8 and 12hrs if they are having short heats. I dairy bred @ 8 and Angus @ 12 just an idea.

How does the probe at the elevator work?
It's got a vacuum line I believe that goes directly to the room where the scale operator is. They can pull the sample and then take it and do a moisture sample
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to include us in your farm's journey.
Thank you for taking the time to watch!
