Omg just wanted to post i have been playing for like a few days cracked a bunch of starter decks built it in a day buying the elsas $20 and got 2nd at my set champs losing in game 3 and losing the die roll after not hitting a draw card after the god ramp curve. This deck is insane if played with high tempo and ramp. Thanks for the prizes I won so far hope to run it back tomorrow for the final set champs hosted!!!!

I netdecked this list a week ago not knowing anything about the pace of Lorcana or how this deck wants to curve out and go clapped by even the bad emerald and steel players at my first local. Now I booted up Pixelborn and played the deck like hearthstone tempo is king style and I have a 100% win rate over like 15 games so far. At the local I was priortizing draw cards mulliganing like an idiot reading everything and now I think this deck is bananas and am so glad I was able to make it just by buying 3 starter decks and lucking out with getting the loose ends that aren't in them. Hopefully I take down at least one of the 2 set champs I plan on playing this at over the weekend. Once I saw how much stitch was going for and that the events would be held locally I rushed to build a deck and learn the game from scratch. This deck was not only affordable but had so many cards guarenteed to find in starter decks. Wish me luck and thank god for pixelborn or I would have been playing the cards that drew and being worried about trading my characters for minus card adv when the only trades that matter are for lore racing you trade your 1 lores for their 2 lores pretty much no matter the minus you mulligan hard for the board and ramp. And you save the drawing for as late as possible and try and setup on board draw insurance like rabbit or locations when you win the board. And board clear any good card that sings like ursula, low drop 2 lore questers.

I play a more dime heavy built with gaston in it. Why is dime not in your list?

Did you find a way to get Pinoccio in and if so what did you cut?

How does this deck deal with ruby amethyst???? I feel like it’s a rough match up.

Testing this deck on pixelborn before championships and 2 Motanui has been a great addition to 2 mickey! Turn 3 motanui and breaking chernabog after questing gives you draw and ink!

I am going to take this list to the championships here in my area. What is your mulligan strategy? What are the most important cards for you to start with? What I am really liking here is mickey turn 3 and then Snake plus that same mickey turn 4. So I try to look for those two for sure, what are your thoughts on the mulligan? Sidenote: I also won some very tight games with Elsa plus snake Elsa next turn etc... for three turns in a row. That is really fun

What was your reasoning for cutting the cogsworth and the gaston's?

I love the idea of the pascals + merlin crab over the cruella! She's too slow in my opinion and pascals questing faster is good.

I’m ok with BO2. Rounds were quick which means more room for more rounds in future. The only issue with pixelborn is that there has to be a way to force the coin toss in first round because I think going first the second round has a bigger advantage then going first in first round. Currently no way to tell if first round was a coin toss or not on PB

On the tournament structure, an interesting note is that I wasn't paired against the first or second seed players as a function of the swiss (but did draw against the 4th seed) so was effectively paired up while some people were paired down and ended in a higher seed. The 2 game structure really dreamcrushes you or kingmakes based on random pairings since it doesn't effectively pair winners with winners. For the decklist, the scars were MVPs in ladder testing, especially against green steel where part of their plan is to Ursula your Be Prepared, but can't hit the Scar. Scar also tears through 0/1's and 1/2's very effectively. For the 1-of Heart, I had 2 originally but wasn't happy drawing more than one. Sometimes in the mid to late game it is a good hit and gives you effective card advantage, but you don't really want to see more than one. It also ups your item density to help make sure tamotoa/flavorsham are hitting.

So for the PS list I play, it's definitely about keeping card advantage via blue fairy and rabbits. Cut snakes because in most matchups you want T2 fairy or Smee and don't want to bounce your Robinhood, snakes are for later rabbit or goat bounces. Locations are good vs steel and aggro. Some people have cut smee and castles for Cindy shift package. Beast is still valuable because it's a good post Be Prepared play with a blue fairy + beast. 1 guaranteed draw there off fairy and forces them to answer beast or get more draw. If blue fairy wasn't in here I'd consider going down on beast, but curving into blue fairy is strong
